Likes

The clubs here are good indeed the extracurricular activities i like the most bcz they provide us od to skip the classes and enjoy events
The placement is kinda good if u maintained the gpa like the average package is about 8 LPA for CSE student

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the classroom and the faculty sometimes
The HOD and staff members in the upper department including Dean is not much into students problem they don't care

Yeah the course they provide are actually good but some of them are literally useless idk why they include those course they just donit for like so that students will get back in that course and students should pay for it

Yeah the internship starts from 3rd year they got connection with many companies and startups we get regular mail from our college which leads to greater opportunities to get internship but it's really hard to getbas for one 1000 apply

Placement Experience

The placement of my college is average it is like for CSE student the average package is 8lpa but these placement are generally for 9 pointers and the rest of the students get the package of like 4-6 lpa the majority ones

Fees and Financial Aid

Total I pay 200000 as my tution fee i am not a hostelr so I don't have to pay any other fee I didn't got any scholarship My fee catagory is Category1 Many of my friends are of category 2,3,4 They used to pay like 300000 , 400000 , 600000 per year

Campus Life

My overall experience was not that much good I had good memories as well as boring memories of my classes where all students used to sleep and take a nap nobody gives a shit to lacture I just enjoyed the events and vibrance

Admission

I choosed this because the infrastructure and the placement they provide was better than the college that was in option for me I was having option to go in govt college but i was not getting the preferred branch

Faculty

The faculty to students ratio is okey like they have proper faculties for the students but most of them are not the young ones they are rude old people not allowed but yeah many of them. But I was luckily in many of the good faculties class.

this is where they lie the most , they claim to have placement records of 97% but in reality its just 10%. because of huge student crowd , placing everyone is one big task. the company that comes here for hiring are mostly startups and some lesser known company . branches like mechanical and EEE have it even more difficult time to get placement.the highest package of over college is of 16 lakhs .

My experience In VIT Chennai!

Placement Experience:

At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.

i was already studied diploma in electrical and electronics engineering so my course selection was based on that. the college which i have studied is 90% is absed on the old theory ony they are teaching the the latest thing. the internal exams will come twice in a semester and based in that your internal mark will upload.

I applied for Amirta, SNU Noida, SNU Chennai and VIT Chennai and finnaly got into VIT chennai even after receiving the admission letter from SNU Noida and Amirta.
