NISAM's LIfe At Amity

Likes

the campus is very beautiful, with a thoughtful setuo and serene evenings
the Football court, the canteens, the classroom all has really good quality
the course design is good and syllabus is structed well

Dislikes

faculties kept on coming and going, i often see new teachers every 2 months
The assignments and projects arent that challenging
for my course, there is no enough field or practical work

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covered filmmaking and insight into journalism. It gives good idea about journalism and its practises. the techincal parts are quite weak and can be improved by providing more practicals. Exams are very rare and easy

Likes

College life was very good and happiness everyone were very kind
The hostel system according my friends were very good and it was structured perfectly for everyone
The canteen food is pretty good they’ve got good options and it’s a must try I would say

Dislikes

The distance from station to college was far
Especially during the dark it’s better not to travel that side
The auto people outside are overpriced and they say the amount whatever they feel like

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was very smooth for us majority of it was very fun like post sem 3 it was all fun esp when post covid we all got together courses were fun to do and it wasn't boring at all the teachers made it fun and we had many activities too which makes our learning better

From the second year you are eligible for the campus placements, they provide good placements in the media sectors, the average package goes around 3-4 L per annum. Almost every student gets placed in the university.

Remarks:

It??s communication school is really good as recommended by people. The lecturers have worked in the industries and are experienced. The teaching style is also very good. They have studios where they prepare students for anchoring, news reporting. The course is very interesting this is why i chose this course.

Remarks:

Amity University is one of the finest Universities in India which provides practical exposures to the students for the required field. I wanted study Mass Communication from Mumbai since Mumbai is a media hub. Therefore Amity University Mumbai was an appropriate choice.
