Remarks

Amity University is one of the finest Universities in India which provides practical exposures to the students for the required field. I wanted study Mass Communication from Mumbai since Mumbai is a media hub. Therefore Amity University Mumbai was an appropriate choice.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course had ample electives, minors and majors. We had Digital Marketing, TV Journalism, Spanish, Advertising, PR, Online Media, Photography, Film Production, Event Management etc. We have an experienced bunch of faculty.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 600000 per year

Placement Experience

3.5

CRC department is responsible for the placements of the students. Companies like Amazon, Tata Consultancy Services, Zee Media, Adfactor etc have approached. Every communication is done via the CRC department.

College Events

Our college is well known for the it's Annual event i.e. Aminova. It's mostly held in February. The event is held for 2 days. We have fashion shows, Inter College Cultural Competitions, every School holds a specific competition.

Campus Life

Amity University is well known for it's infrastructure. They have in campus hostel aswell. Library is well equipped with old and new books related to our courses. The Wifi facility is 24/7. Amity holds Sangthan every year for games like Volleyball, Football etc.

Best was the international trip

Placement Experience:

We have to complete two months internship after our first year after which we can convert these internships into jobs and thus get placed as well. Around 50 percent students are currently placed. We can search for jobs on our own and well go for placements via college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've B.A (Psychology and philosophy) as my course. According to NEP you can do majors in psychology from 2nd year onwards and this will be decided on the basis of your result. Only 1st 90 students will be able to secure psychology seat and out of this 1st 45 students will haved aided course and 2nd half will have unaided course i.e they have to pay more than the 1st half but the faculty would be the same and the class is also same for both the halves. Also the course structure is nice and interesting enough.

Since we are secknd batch of data science we don't know much about how is the placement for data science students. There are good placements for bms students. Must Read this before taking admission in Amity University Mumbai

I had applied for Chandigarh University and Amity Noida but due to distance i was not able to choose those colleges.And this college was approachable so I chose this one.I didn't get rejection from the above colleges,as I said distance was the problem.There is not very complicated admission process it's a private university you pay your fees and submit your documents,that's all.
