Is a domicile rule valid in ASTU?

The B.Tech Applicants of ASTU must be a citizen of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam with a valid PRF provided by a competent Authority.

Is there an Age limit for B.Tech admission to ASTU?

The University follows the guidelines of the state examination authority that is Assam CEE and complies with it. These are the requirements:The applicants must not be below 17 years of age as on August 01 of the admission year.The upper age limit of the candidates for B.Tech admission in Assam is 21 years.For SC/ ST categories, the upper age limit is 25 years.B.Sc graduates who wish to pursue B.Tech must note that the upper age limit for them is 22 years.

Is there any way that a candidate can get admission to a B.Tech program without attempting the entrance examination?

Candidates who have more than 85% of marks in Class 12 and hold the first position in the Assam higher secondary examinations are exempted from entrance test. These students are eligible for direct admission in government engineering colleges.

Campus of assam engineering college is too good.
Faculties of assam engineering college is to excellent for this post
Infrastructure of the college is not so good

Dislikes

The campus is not closed. Therefore no rule regulation is applied for this campus
Placement of the college is not too good comparison to central college
Infrastructure is comparetively not so good

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college is too good .there are many companies coming our campus.the companies like OIL,NRL and many other companies which give many job in our college students.the average package of our college is 5 lakhs

AEC in a nutshell

Likes

The faculty of AEC is very helpful and supportive
The College conducts very extra co curricular activities and sports events and Pyrokinesis is one of the best events
The Labs are good and necessary things are available at lab

Dislikes

Sometimes maintenance in less in AEC campus.
The campus is an open campus so it will be nice if AEC have a closed campus

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th Semester the college placement is decent last year the highest placement was 18 lakhs per annum which was received by student from Chemical Branch the college have a strong alumni network and good connection with companies as per my branch ONGC,NRL are the highest paying companies and besides this companies there are other companies for placement. Percentage of students getting placement is decent

Form the 6 th semester the students are eligible for the campus placement in aec. Then they legible for placement. The heights pakage in aec is 1600000. My plan is to attend and get the campus placement in college only.

I like the various other extra curricular activities including clubs which help in overall growth of the students
I like the availability of teachers and most of the teachers are graduated from IIT's sob they have a very good teaching experience
I like the placement opportunities that our college provides.

Dislikes

Campus is not that much good our college boundaries are not confined , residents live inside the campus.
Infrastructure is of old model

Students from the 3 rd become eligible for sitting in placements .big companies namely infoysys oil ongc Amazon ambuja cement aquagreen dish network technologies visit our campus for recruitment.in 2022 around 90% students are placed.

I choose this course because civil is very demanding in our state. Faculties are very experienced and have a very friendly nature and all are very highly qualified.our term exam held in every 6 month and the exams are conducted very strictly in AEC.

My experience of college life

Likes

Faculty is too good they are so kind they help you whenever u need them
Seniors are also good they are so friendly
Sports week we get explore ourselves and be free to play

Dislikes

No proper field for playing cricket or football

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies visited are Bosch, Sbi, Hdfc, Dalmia etc about 100 offers were made the highest 12lpa and the average is 6.5 lpa 70 75% of students got placed after getting the degree I will try to settle down

Our placement scenario is well good. We have an on-campus placement. We can seat for placement in our last year Almost 70-75% of students of every branch are placed. It's the highest package is 30lpa And the average package is 7lpa
