CAMPUS IS OVERALL GOOD AND GREENERY SURROUNDING WHICH MAKES THE CAMPUS MESMERISING AS IT IS IN THE ABODE OF DEEPOR BEEL .
STUDENT COUNCIL BODY ARE VERY HELPFUL AND VERY COOPERATIVE.IT EMBARKS ONE OF THE BIGGEST FEST IN NORTH EAST INDIA WHICH IS PYROKINESIS .
THE PLACEMENTS AS 2nd tier college is good .It is Government college rated after IITG AND NIT SILCHAR IN ASSAM .

Dislikes

CANTEEN FOOD IS NOT BAD BUT NOT THAT GOOD .THE BUS PROVIDED FOR DAY SCHOLARS ARE LIMITED

From 7th semester beginning the students are eligible for the placements .VEDANTA ,L&T ,AMBUJA CEMENTS IOCL OIL BHEL BHARAT ELECTRONICS are the companies visiting the campus from time to time .The highest package offered is 24 LPA AND AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 5 lpa .The overall % tage of students getting placed is 70% every year

Likes

Assam Engineering College have good environment. Assam Engineering College is the oldest college in northeast India. The college is great with the beautiful mountain and laake.
Every college faculties are polite and very coperate in nature. As fresher there is no condition in the campus. Experience teaching staff make our every course related topic easier. They give assignment take class test and complete our course
In the Assam Engineering College, every course related practical done by students which is help for our technical vision.

Dislikes

Classroom is not in good condition. Seat also are not comfortable.
In the hostel for freshers is tough for some days . They will not do their own till fresher party. But everything come normal day by day

Placement Experience:

Highest placement in our college is 2400000 rupees from chemical engineering. And avarage package is 100000 rupees. If a student can't found a job they can give Gate exam and take admission in IITs or take a job in PSUs

Assam engineering college -North east's best engineering college

Likes

Its provides better education than other stater engineering college
The annual cultural fest organised by the student is also very famous in enitre assam
It provides excellent sports facilities . Th teacher are also very good

Dislikes

The authority need the make the campus close at first
The machine and labs are need to improve so student can get better benifits
The field and the gym need to be upgraded so everyone can utilise it

The course curriculum is also good . It try to provides a well knowledge to the students so that they can easily deal with the real world . It tries to give more practically knowledge. There are some minor drawbacks are there but we can easily neglect it

Assam engineering college - A good state enigeering college of the enitre northeast

Likes

Northeast first engineering college . So it provides better education
It's very active culturally . AEC organise a cultural fest every year
The teachers are very brilliant as compared to the other state engineering college

Dislikes

Firstly the authority need to make the campus close
The machines and other equipments are need to upgrade so that can provide better education to the student

The Course covers almost every part that we need to get a better grip on that topic. It makes us appropriate to deal with the real world. We need to complete one course in 3 to 4 months. We get almost 4 months to prepare for the final exam

I like the campus and geographical location and infrastructure
I like their syllabus and teaching skills and Educational environment
Computer science engineering department 💪 and i also like their event and sports

I am fully dislike on campus placement and placement cell
I dislike their building and infrastructure
I dislike their Educational system and faculty management

I choose Computer science engineering because I like programming and mechine learning etc . I prepare the curriculum for real world application on the basis of market demand. I suggest to improve the course curriculum It should be degitalized and well experienced faculty so that they can easily explain the concept . The friquency and timing of exam is very different. It should be needed to improve

The greenery around the campus is good for the health
The annual function 'Pyrokinesis' is definitely a charm
Teachers are approachable, can contact then for any help

Placement Experience:

A placement facility is also available in AEC. Some very good PSUs come to us and take students with a healthy return. But there is scope of improvement in the placement system looking after the number of students

The BTech days

Likes

The faculty is very good , the lab is up to the mark . Thus the overall academic is nice
The extra curriculum like club activities are very enjoyable as well as beneficial.
The seminars and other interactions met up are very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is according to AICTE standards. The teaching should be more realistic and with great clarity. The paper difficulty level is a bit where it does not match with the classroom teaching. Further marking according to me is a bit stricter. The exams are held on time.

Assam engineering college review

Likes

It has minimal fees, professors are supportive, nature friendly campus, it's tech fest is awesome,
Hostel fees also less as compared to other college, no such academic pressure which will help the students to pursue the other activities as well.
Produced many alumnus who are working across the world in many innovative as well as respected field, strong alumnus network

Dislikes

Open campus due to which there happened some of very terrible event
Mess food is not good enough, hostel is also at a distance of almost 2km , don't have proper road facility
Scope of innovation is very less, hostel authority is not providing the basic facility to the students like chair, table, bed. There is scope of improvement

Placement Experience:

From fourth year one get into the campus placement but from second year one can apply for internship program. In previous year many psu like iocl, ongc ,nrl etc used to visit for the core branches but after the covid they used to recruit through the gate score so scope of high paying job is less but still one can get package of around 12lac through campus placement as many companies like Vedanta, dalmia cement, Infosys used to visit the campus. Placement percentage is 60 to 70 percentage

You should consider Assam Engineering College as backup if you don't get into IITs or NITs

Likes

Assam Engineering College have a basket ball court for all the campus student to facilitate the sporting culture.
Assam Engineering College have a beautiful main building where students clicks their first college photos.
Assam Engineering College have beautiful mountains beside its campus that attracts students for a peaceful visit

Dislikes

The placement statics of Assam Engineering College is not upto the mark.
The roads inside the college campus is full of potholes.
The infrastructure of Assam Engineering College is not that beautiful except for the main building

From your 8th semester, you are eligible for a campus placement drive. Companies often visit are OIL, TCS, ACCENTURE, L&T, Bharat Electronics, etc The percentage of students getting placed is approx 50.

AEC and it's beauty

Likes

Faculties are trained and intelligent. Campus are good. Easy availability of sourses.
Will get amazing friends, will get a amazing hostel life.
Other than studies there are other scope for sports and other activities.

Dislikes

Sometimes python also observed in the campus which is very dangerous

Placement Experience:

CSe student got 100% placement in our college. Other branches also got placed. According to me the placement packages are not upto expected. Though some good hiring companies like iocl , NRL are come. they offer good packages.
