Yeah they are well qualified one proffessor i know he has done both btech and mtech like this many are well qualified another math teacher has very much social knowledge also like he is a member of one national commiteee
The college provides a wide range of scholarships for merit students excelling in academics.
I am an 8th sem student and i am proud to say that i have already been placed in a prestigious company with a great package.

Dislikes

Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

SPEAK UP ABOUT UR COLLEGES

Likes

I liked the campus and the all the things that are Available for a student to utilize in the campus
The teaching methods where any problems faced by the student immediate action is taken
The class that the college is maintaining for their standards and the rules.

Dislikes

The teachers are a bit of supporting their favourite students and no equality in some teachers
The canteen in the 13th floor B block does not follow good cleanliness
The problems faced by a student if taken to the principal tells that i am thinking of making BCom free for students so don't bring complaints here

Placements in our college is kinda ok because first of all they don't get many placements in which 200 applied only 1 or 2 is going to get selected for the 2nd round. So the term 100% placements is not the word to be used because when you take in people who want to get a placement where 5% of them gets and remaining have to search on their own

Campus facilities are quite well set up good sports facilities like gym badminton court pool table
Academic structure includes more practical thinking and problem solving
Hospital available inside campus with free service to students like x rays and consultation

Dislikes

Not a lot of events happen inside campus
Lot of academic related stuff instead of events and student life
Not much exposure to other colleges in terms of fests

I was personally intrested in taking bba as it aligned with my interests in business the curriculum is based off worksheets and case studies the exams are MCQ based for inter sem exams and end sem exam is a 100 mark paper which can be written or typed depending on your choice

PES UNIVERSITY AND IT'S PROS AND CONS

Likes

Facilities are great, we have advanced technology for assessments, we have a gym with good pricing, there is an amphitheatre as well
I like the infrastructure as well, the buildings are well built with a quadrangle, multiple libraries that are well equipped
I like that there are several places for students to go to study, as a student living away from the college i do not mind staying little longer and studying

Dislikes

Infrastructure, as much as i like it, it can get a little confusing, the lifts malfunction a lot also.
As qualified as the professors are, approaching higher authorities for support and resolution of problems is scary.

The curriculum does not prepare you very well for the outside world, having said that I do believe that it is great for you as an introduction into all of the options out there so decision making for your career becomes easy. I would like it if the teaching was more application based and we had more exposure to that.

every weekend we have holidays. both sat and sun.
syllabus is pretty good. it is impactful.
question paper pattern is quite different from rest colleges but it is good

Dislikes

girls hostel is outside campus and boys hostel is inside campus
hostel food is very bad. and curfew timings are 6 30 to 6 30
weekday timings are so strict and not much events organised

our course curriculum is fine. first year was quite easy to score. but u can actually score well in 1st year. you should work hard for that. if you just say that u will study the day before exam it's fine but u will be disappointed after results.

A deep dive into PES University

Likes

The curriculum of the college is dynamic and changes as per the requirements of the market, hence the students are up to date with whatever they need to know to get placed
The infrastructure is constantly evolving and labs are being setup year after year to felicitate students hands on learning.
The clubs are very active and events are held periodically to encourage students to have skills apart from regular academics.

Dislikes

The management at times is very rigid on dealing with a few issues regarding students affairs.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible from placements after he/she completes their 6th semester. Every top tier company one can think of has or had visited the campus in the placements activities that took place. Likes of MIcrosoft, Apple, Oracle and multiple MNCs have visited the campus with each of them making 1-5 offers each. The highest package in the previous placement season was 48lpa and the lowest was 4lpa. 100% of the students who are eligible for placements that is have a gpa of 6.75+ have gotten placed in the previous placement drive

Infrastructure is very good compare to all college
Teaching proficiency is good for all facilities
Placement is very good compare to other colleges

Dislikes

There is no much of parking area it's too small
There is no too much nature friendly only few trees
It is too far from bus stop to campus building

This college is the one of the top colleges in Bengaluru and we can able to eligible from 2nd semester for campus placement and so many companies will come but every placement depends upon student's performance

The placements are pretty good. 1 out of ten people get placed. And this college is known for their placements. Global companies come for placements. They also provide internships. The percentage for a good placement is 90 %

Likes

Faculty is so supportive. They are ready to help you in academic anytime.
All the faculty members are enough capable to clear doubt of each and every student.
College is always appreciated students achievements .

Dislikes

College is more focused on academics. College have all the facilities but focus is only academics.
College is so biased for some courses. For some courses they doesn't bother much.
Duration of semesters are too short here.

Every year College revised their curriculum as per market need. Like now a days market is of ai/ml/data science, of college already included these in there curriculum. As much as I know, this college have more advanced course than others. They took exams every month.

The college is pretty good compare to other colleges in our state but it can get better.
The college life is good, the batchmates and seniors were good. The social life is also great.
The faculties of my department were good but some them were crikey sometimes especially HOD of my department.

Dislikes

The college infrastructure, it is build on a mountain slope. Sometimes it feels like we are hiking while going out of campus.
The social life is great but there is differentiation in K-cet students and PESAT students.
The attendance criteria is not good, sometimes they call parents if you don't complete the criteria

Course Curriculum Overview:

I've chosen these courses because in the counselling I was getting this course only. The course is very much relevant to the real world applications and higher education. I don't think the curriculum requires any changes but the teaching methods can be improved like the materials provided during course etc.,. The exams are conducted every 1 and half month so there is lot of time for preparation.

PES HAVEN FOR EDUCATION

Likes

The infrastructure is top notch giving you amazin opportunities from sports to labs and inventions.
The faculty is nice and kind and helps you with internships and credits system.

Dislikes

The curriculum is very rigorous and assignments are given extremely often which makes it tough to cope and maintain cgpa.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college are amazing.With a placement percentage of over 80% even during recession period this college is very reliable for in campus placements and internships.Around $th sem the internships start and placements start from 5th or 6Th sem.

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.

Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:

Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants.
Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE.
Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
