Which is better for a BBA, AIMS or PES University in Bangalore?

PES University in Bangalore is considered better than AIMS. One of my friends, being a graduate of AIMS itself, widely states that the institute somewhat lacks the basic amenities. AIMS Bangalore, unfortunately, misguides different people by projecting themselves as a premier college. The faculty in the institute is also not the best you could get. AIMS used to be a good institute for pursuing BBA, however, it has only lost its credibility very recently. The college lacks the same facilities and infrastructure which PES greatly has. In fact, PES Bangalore has a top-notch and well-qualified faculty with significant corporate exposure. PES University provides foreign exposure and extracurricular activities, as opposed to AIMS. Knowing students from both the institutes and on the basis of their experience, the placement stats of either institute, course fee structures, it can be determined that PES University is ahead of AIMS. The College:PESU

PES University charges 2lakh per year for the 3 year BBA course, extra 2 lakh per year for the 4 year BBA Honours and the same for the BBA Analytics course. There is no management or any reservation seats. There are 3 different scholarships that they offer for students who score more than 9-9.5 SGPA will be awarded 75,000 for that particular semester for students above 8.50SGPA they will be awarded 25,000 and students with more than 8SGPA they will be awarded 2000.

PESU awards you best years of college life!!

Total fees of BBA from PES costs 6 lakhs and for a year it is closed to 2 lakhs. Flr open category students it is 2 lakhs and for other category it is 1 to 1.2 lakhs as they get enough concession or scholarship whatever you may say.

PESU has best environment!!

PES University has a large alumni based and they are one of the first private universities who introduced BBA.
BBA program here at PES is more of a practical thing than theory and therefore we have as many practical sessions as the number of theory classes.

Fees is average if not less as 2.5 lakhs a year at a university of this stature is common. PESU is at par with Symbiosis, Jain University or Christ University both in terms of fees and exposure. Including the mandatory foreign visit, the entire cost of my education will be around 10 lakhs.

PESU has many colours!!

There are compulsorily 3 CIA's in each semester and this is like too much.

Fees increases every subsequent year at PESU and that is wise too. Every year we see some changes at the university as even though the university has almost all the facilities they are still evolving. To aid scholarships schemes are announced every year and there's a seperate department for it as well when one can enquire.

BBA in PES University: A case study from 2020-23.

Outdated curriculam in some aspects in BBA.

The fees are exorbitant compared to peer colleges and institutions. However there is a scholarship program for academic performance and this recoups a sizeable amount of the fee, should a student attain it. The fees had jumped to over 2LPA in 2022 from 1.7LPA in 2020. The scholarships available for academic excellence are CNR Rao and MRD scholarships. This is a university wide undertaking and the reimbursement depends on the department the student belongs to. There is a big club culture in the university and students are often seen being busy during tests and events. The placements for BBA are quite disappointing with the department not making enough of an effort to ensure that companies with higher packages visit campus.

All you need to know about PES University

There is a fixed increase in the fee structure every year. There are no other charges other than the tuition fees. There are three scholarships based on the performance of the students every semester. The scholarships are MRD scholarship, CNR scholarship and distinction scholarship.
