Yeah they are well qualified one proffessor i know he has done both btech and mtech like this many are well qualified another math teacher has very much social knowledge also like he is a member of one national commiteee
The college provides a wide range of scholarships for merit students excelling in academics.
I am an 8th sem student and i am proud to say that i have already been placed in a prestigious company with a great package.

Dislikes

Very bad at this, there is no scope for any kind of fests in our college.
I'll pay 250000 per year and we don't get any kind of scholarship because your cgpa has to be above 8.1 so no scholarship from government also they would discriminate us and they won't allow us to get it.
Hostel rules are too strict, curfew of 7 is very early and the girls hostel is outside the campus which is a bit inconvenient

The environment in the clg is very good , it motivates me

Dislikes

Some of the faculty members are really not great
Not enough places to roam in the clg , feels like it's cramped

Engineering mathematics and other subjects are pretty useful . We were thought python in first sem and we are being thought of c this sem , as a computer science student I think languages are important but the staff isn't that great .

Life in MCA at PES University

Likes

Regular events to keep us excited to go back to college
The number of canteens are many, thanks to which we can always get good food.
The campus is huge, and the library is regularly updated with good materials.

Dislikes

The college is centred around BTech and BBA, and we don't get that many opportunities
Our department is all locked up in one building, so we don't get any interaction with others.
Infrequent communication between the teachers

Placement Experience:

The placements cell is good, and the staff is helpful. However, because of recession, the companies aren't coming that frequently to college. While the cell is helpful, it will always depends on the student taking the exams, since it's the company's decision to hire, not the universities.

the campus and infrastructure, clubs to join
the faculty is really good and helps you whenever you need
the average placement is really good in the campus

Dislikes

there is too much crowd within the campus
not enough space for students of all courses
we need to pay 50 for everyday car parking.

The course curriculum is very good. It is up-to-date and updates almost every year. it does not focus only on bookish knowledge but also on the practical application of the knowledge in day-to-day activities.

All you need to know about PES University

Likes

The exposure we have access to at PES is amazing.
The opportunities we get in terms of career or co curricular activities is great.
PES has a beautiful infrastructure with a lot of amenities for the students.

Dislikes

PES can improve with placements at the EC campus.
It can also improve on resume building with accordance to the company standards.

Placement Experience:

From semester 3, students are eligible for placement. The highest package so far has been 3 lakhs per annum. My plans after my degree is doing my higher studies abroad. Many MNCs have visited PES for campus placements.

See about the content and i will give it as excellent

I liked the MRD auditorium in which we can avail all the sports and gym facilities
I also liked their examination process and its a effective process
I also liked the campus surroundings near by

Dislikes

It is too small around 30 acres and poor internet connectivity
The authorities are very strict and the rules are also not acceptable
College's management is also very strict

PES university offers a good placement to its students PES university's highest package stood at 65LPA our college top recruitments are Cisco,Intel,Akamai,LinkedIn,Amazon and many more around 60% of students will get placed

A little about PESU

Likes

Genuine people who make it a great place for improving your social skills and expanding your network
Events, hackathons, fests, lots to learn by taking part in these
College website provides necessary and relevant material for exams

Dislikes

It might feel difficult to meet people and talk to them initially but you just have to try, you get better and it gets easier.
Food is nice, however not much jain food is available on campus.
Some subjects like mechanical engineering sciences and engineering physics may seem pointless.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose btech because of general interest in the technology sector, the startup culture and the opportunity to expand your network. Based on this, engineering is pretty relevant and it does prepare us for real world applications and further studies. Maybe we can improve opportunities for research.

The study techniques that the teachers use
The campus the best part. The infrastructure is amazing.

Dislikes

The fees is a bit high. May be they have to take a bit more measures.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students are eligible for campus placement. The salary package is in high level from 17 lakhs per annum and the highest package offrwas 80.3 lakhs per annum. The placement rate is 60 percentage.

The infrastructure of the library is too good that it motivates each and everyone to come and study in it and it has a spcious room and also and cozy good vibe space to study

The way some teachers react to the students
Too many assignments and the exam they give
break times which keep us hungry at some times

Wanted to do business administeration in finance . The faculty and student ratio is very huge . All the faculty are PHDs and the ones who have passed out from huge management institutuions . There are internals which include assignments case studies worksheets and Viva presentations . If you study everything that happens in the classes its not that difficult to pass

The faculty, the staff, the overall campus life
The teachers for first year are very good at their job and are extrenely professional and qualified too
The libraries, the sports accomodations.

Dislikes

The campus can get a little crowded at times
The timings for first years could do eith a little more liniency

I chose this course because of my light intrest in it and the career opportunities that come with this course Faculty student ratio is decent in the 2nd year onwards, it will be about 1 faculty per 40 students Every teaching faculty member has and is required by the university to have atlrast a masters degree in their respective fields, and many even have PhDs The exams were very timely, the university very rarely deviates from its planned annual calendar The pessat entrance exam was no too difficult in my opinion.

PES University is a good private university offering four-year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering (CSE) courses. It is one of the most popular courses at the university and is worth the hype.

Students can go through the following reasons to know more about the CSE course at PES University:

Approvals & Accreditations: The university is recognized by UGC and the Government of Karnataka. It is also accredited by NAAC and holds the approval of AICTE, making it a trustable institution.
Fees: The B.Tech CSE fee at PES University is INR 4,80,000 per annum and a candidate also has to pay INR 10,000 as a one-time non-refundable admission fee. The university courses are more expensive in comparison to other universities, so if you cannot afford high fees don't apply for this university.
Eligibility Criteria: The eligibility criteria for CSE is very simple at PES University Bangalore. Candidates must have passed Class XII with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission.
Selection: The selection of candidates is based on merit in the entrance examination. The university conducts PESSAT to offer admission in various undergraduate and postgraduate courses including B.Tech CSE. The university also accepts KCET and JEE Mains scores.
Minor Specialization: The students can also choose B.Tech CSE in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as a minor specialization giving more aligned specialization to applicants.
Seat Intake: There are a total of 720 seats available in the CSE course among which 288 are KCET quota seats, 288 seats are available for PESSAT candidates and 36 seats are reserved for JEE Mains students. The university has also reserved 108 seats for management/ NRI/ foreign/ sponsored category students. 43 seats are there for Lateral entry students and the remaining 29 seats are for CET quota students applying for lateral entry in CSE.
Ranking: The university has been ranked 100-150 for Engineering (B.Tech) by NIRF 2023.
