Also some scholarships are available for students like single child scholarship and score above cgpa 60% are eligible to apply for scholarship.
The faculty is good and their qualifications are very much impressive and they are supportive too and whenever the students need any guidence or help related to their studies the teachers are always welcoming them with their open arms .
The college conducts the induction programme for our best and also the program for the student who has an interest in sport, drama, dance, and singing they also get the chance to show their talent.

Dislikes

Conditions of fans and lights in many classes is not at all good
The internal number of the faculty is much lower than in other colleges.
The college staff's behavior is behavior is very bad also the teacher's behavior is very bad.

Read this before getting admission

Likes

College beautiful garden and river side park is very attractive
Campus life is good filled with lot of events festivals and extra curriculum activities
The placement cell in the colleg help to student approaching there

Dislikes

College one building far from other diffrence is 2 km office work done in only one
Campus life influence by political parties make difficult sometime
Faculties only teach when they are in the mood only and not on schedule

I choose this course just to come in college and play my sports nothing to do with it It is old syllabus need improvement and not prapare for real world The course syllabus like chapter should include entrepreneurship teacher focous on teaching for work not exam The exam conduct on time easy level is exam

The infrastructure of the college it has a huge garden playground and side river park in the college
The engagement in college life was amazing there was littel bit of language problem was there to interact else it was good experience
The teachers are friendly and very qualified have many reaserch papers on their name

The infrastructure of the college have one issue that there is official work in only one building there are two building science Building and commerce building and official work only work in science building and distance between them is 2km
The campus life had major problem which was union college is highly influenced by political parties members
The teaching style of teachers are primitive and only teaches what comes in exam

The college infrastrucure the college garden there is filter water in cmpus make a big playground making it the best one
All the faculaties are highly qualified some of have and has become proffesior done phd as well amd written research papers they have become proffesior after passing various entrence exams by the university.
The aspect of college i appreciate is disciplined teachers and unuion in the college make the campus safer for everyone zero tolerence for raging its a raging free campus

Dislikes

I think the campusing in college could be more improved they should invite nore recruiters in the college they do conduct acedmic fair but that doesn't helps anywhere
The faculaties remain seat in the office rather then teaching sometime don't even take classes on a daily basis after sem 4 we didn't joined any classes there was no such schedule
Amenities in Classroom should imorove there is still blackboard there it should be remove with some digital board or something

Placement Experience:

From 5th sem students are eligibel for campus placements The camopanies visited was tcs only The highest salary was 4.5 lpa and the average is 1 lpa It was for the amazon vcs Percentage of students getting placed is too low 40% After getting this degree i am preparing fpr civil services exam

Campus is neet and cleen and hyganic also
Facilities are very good there's behaviour is good

Teaching faculties of our college is good.

Canteen food is not so good.people should should bring their tiffin from home .
Sometimes when students have class...teachers don't come to college..
Even teacher do not informs to students that they will not come.

Our curriculum is all based on NEP system. It's well made.. We want teachers to complete our syllabus at time.. Beacause sometimes teacher dont come college nd our syllabus dont get compelete. But yes atlast our syllabus get complete.

My college provide other course for clearing government exams and it also prepares students for government exam interviews w
My college also gives opportunities to students to participates in other activities except academics like painting competitions
My college contains many highly educated teachers who are very helpful and supportive

Dislikes

In my college exams are held very lately. Also students have to get updates about exams in the websites, information are not provided by teachers
There are no proper guidance to contact to teachers when needed, students by themselves have to solve their problems by own many times
No students are allowed to use library or to enter the college during semester examination

Placement Experience:

From semester 6 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like TCS , cognizant, Wipro visites our college and no. Of offer depends upon the no. Of students applying for it which depends on marks of students who got good marks every semester. Highest package offered is 500000 lpa and minimum is 200000 lpa.

Best college in Barrackpore

Course Curriculum Overview:

I belong to a commerce background so I choose Bcom and I also want to do MBA after college. The college faculty is very big and the teachers are very good and mainly all the festivals are celebrated. And student Ratio is about 120 students. The teaching method is very good if anyone cant buy books can borrow from the library. Every 3 months, internal exams are taken and in every 6 months semester exam is taken and the exam is easy if we follow classes.

BRSNC is nice college all have to go their learning.

Placement Experience:

From 5th to 6th-semester students will be eligible for placements in the college. Minimum 70 percent of students getting placements in the college. My plan is to go to banking after getting my degree from college.

Remarks:

Bhairab Ganguly College was established in 1968 and since then it has been a popular choice among students of the state for its UG & PG programmes. The college is given NAAC "A" recognition and it works under the affiliation of West Bengal State University. It is probably the best Public college in Kolkata and admission to the institute is based on the Merit list prepared.
