Remarks

Minimum 60 percent for b.com general course. No entrance exam was taken by the college. The admission process is too long. B.com general fees will be 5845 in the brsnc. Reservations seats for the st and sc students.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course is hood for future. And many jobs on this line. 40 students for 1 teacher. The nice teaching method in the college. Every after 6 months the college teacher will take the exam in all subjects. The average difficulty of an exam paper.

From 5th to 6th-semester students will be eligible for placements in the college. Minimum 70 percent of students getting placements in the college. My plan is to go to banking after getting my degree from college.

There are many scholarships in the college just like the swami Vivekananda scholarship, oasis, and many more. These scholarships help the students financially in college. Small offices, accountant job, etc.

The very nice facility in the library. Many books are in the college library. Big playground for all the students. All the sports like cricket and football played in the college. Annual fest and tech fest celebrated in the college.

SXC is invaluable to me!

Placement Experience:

Highest package of our program has been 20 lakhs. Companies like EY, DeShaw, ITC, CESC and many others which are multi billion dollar groups were the ones which are invited for placements. Batch size including morning and evening is of 400 students and nearly 200 gets placements in dream companies. Roles of business analyst and accounting are provided and SAP is taught in our college so those who know that gets job easily.

SXC is an old pedigree!

Placement Experience:

Companies of all domains like the Asian Paints, EY, Nestle and HDFC Bank among all of them come to SXC. Biggest placements so far has been of 20 lakhs or so when one of the student was placedat such a package in 2024.

Placement Experience:

At our college placements are good and many core companies or finance and IT are here for placements and intenrships as well. Average placements from what I have checked is around 4-5 lakhs per year for B.Com (Hons) students.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

I always want to build my career in commerce and my aim is to be a chartered accountant. So I took this course because the syllabus of CA and B.com is the same. our college faculties are so helpful. They always come forward to resolve our academic and nonacademic doubts. Their teaching methods are also good. we don't need to purchase any book, their notes are enough for our syllabus.
