Concealed truths

Likes

I liked the Environment of the university
Carnival celebration is the best part and departmental programmes as well.
I like the people I met in the college premises

Dislikes

Arrogant and ignorant behaviour of non teaching staff
Examination fees are too high , we lower middle class cannot afford
Admission fees is too high for lower middle class, after paying money also teachers don’t realise their duty towards us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think teachers should realise their responsibilities towards those students who are pursuing education through distance they should not only focus towards mo money in everything ,,, The relation should be give and take , you give knowledge and we will pay for that , but here only we are paying

Very good experience

Likes

No gender discrimination among students or professors.
No raaging happens inside the college campus or the hostel.
Excellent faculty members to guide the students.

Dislikes

Toilets should have been cleaned frequently.
Clerks have to be more active and helpful.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A very good college to enhance your curriculum. The ground is so large that you can practice football, badminton and cricket there. Very cultural ambience. Only improvement needed in the field of sports and debate.

A Serene journey in the sublime nature of NBU

Likes

Being a Romantic, I liked the wonderful campus with greenery and serene nature.
Co curricular activities were executed and I did love winning prizes, certificates in events such as extempore, quiz .
Professors were well versed and knowledgeable. Opportunities are provided to participate in international seminars and workshops. I had the opportunity of hosting one workshop and volunteering for an international conference, received certificates .

Dislikes

Well I had trouble travelling from home to uni as it was 70+ kms away .
On a daily basis it was difficult to travel over to the place, thus finding an accomodation became necessary.
Nothing else, everything was alright.. the campus is growing and so are the advancements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum really helped me learn aspects about various papers and even detailed knowledge about certain parts of literature which is very rarely focused on by others was covered here and helped me get a few pointers for UGC NET.

Our beautiful North Bengal University

Likes

The environment of the University is very good. In the campus I feel so refreshing.
There are bus service in the University that a good faculty for those students who come from afar .

Dislikes

Basically I didn't like the students who smoking in the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose my course to doing master's in English because of I love this language.After admission in this University I learn one thing that I have to improve more in my writing skills, learning skills and many more. In the exam there are difficulties if we don't read the books .

Overall University is good fo the students

I mostly like the campus because there are so many trees
The study level is quite good teacher are well
Student union are very helpful to all the students

Dislikes

I don't like politics on University's campus
There are mess in the entry gate that I don't like
University is quite close to the highway

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a teacher and teaching a master's is compulsory. Good student ratio. The teaching methods are really very good, but we need more teachers. The examination is on a semester basis there are 2 exams in a year and it's quite different

Remarks:

Management is good.they will help whenever in need even after college hours.management also provide job to the home students in the respective departments of the college.management does donations to the needy.career will be taken care of but last not the least one pursuing the course should do the hard work for achieving success because management will always provide opportunity to the best deserved.

Good College

Remarks:

The college have many very positive points such as the placement cell, sc-st cell, big library, Health Centre, guest house, auditoriums student help desk and also anti-ragging cell. The students get a very good experience when they get admission in the University of North Bengal.
