I am in my 1st year and i hope to get better day by day with more internships on the way also with enough knowledge about the technology world. My college seniors did get placed into IT chains also many pursued Masters and MBA I am looking Forward to work in the future after my degree

- It's one of the old colleges of Siliguri hence it holds a good reputation among students. Being an ex student of college i feel proud of it.
- Every kind of facilities are available in the campus, such as bike stand, canteen, hygienic toilets and bathrooms etc.
Dislikes
- Supporting staffs are rude, they're not helpful at all.
- Infrastructure is very old. Benches and the whiteboards are not in good shape and conditions.
Placement Experience:
Our college has no history of providing campus placements. But in our time, College had done a collaboration with a private firm which provides placements. Name of the companies includea - 1. Air IQ Pvt ltd 2. Asporea HR consultant pvt ltd. Etc I got 2 opportunities, one of them made an offer of 1.8LPA. Talking about the employability BCom is like a general degree, it can provide and edge for your higher studies but can't promise you a good white collar job. One needs to do some kind of specialisation or diploma courses to learn the key skills required for a job role after their graduation.

7rd semester students become eligible for campus placements.All districts bar council are appointed to the students.Minimum 60000 highest and 30000 lowest package as per companies.Minimim 80 percent marks student getting placement

- Sometimes you have to cover up your studies in your own
- Examination routine and the timings can be improved

Yes the placement record is very good. Various companies like ITC, Wipro, Bajaj finsery and many more companies visit and provide both internship for 1st year students and ppo for final year students.

Out of 100% of students, only 40% of students get qualified for placements as there is vast competition. Job placement is not guaranteed for every student as it consists of government jobs as well as private jobs. Students sometimes get rejected as the selection process for the placements is quite hard, but those who easily qualify all the hindrances consisting in selection get the placements and opportunities.

Getting placement depends on the percentage and also the performance of the students. Maybe they required 75-80%. After getting the degree I will either go for Higher education like MSc in zoology, botany, biochemistry or etc.

There is not any kind of placement cell is available apart from students' own employability. There is the ratio of placement by the college is lower than 1 percentage. I want to pursue my career in civil services.

Students are eligible from the 2nd semester for placements. Most of the big tech companies visit BA. The highest package offered is more than 40 lakhs. The avg package for CS is 10 lakhs. PICT has record placements of more than 90%. I plan to go for an M.Tech degree after completion of the course.

In Siliguri College of Commerce, only two or three companies give their placement like Dell and ITC. Placement is very difficult for student how are able. They get jobs. Company give average package 3.5-5 lack. Students have to score 78%-95% in every semester.

Campusing takes place every year where various IT and marketing companies visit for job offerings.the highest package last time offered to a bcom Student was yearly 9.5 lacs.moreover foreign deligates also visit the forum for job and higher education opportunities abroad.
