Good College

The college have many very positive points such as the placement cell, sc-st cell, big library, Health Centre, guest house, auditoriums student help desk and also anti-ragging cell. The students get a very good experience when they get admission in the University of North Bengal.

The course structure of MA English in our college is very easy and smooth. The MA course is of 2 years in which there are total 4 semester. The examinations occur semester wise. The examination process at our college is pretty simple and clear for all of the students.

The students who have graduated from our College almost develop themselves into well known professionals. All of the students get good jobs and recruitment opportunities after completing their journey from our college.

The fee for MA English in our College is very less. The first year fee was 22000 rupees which was paid by me after my admission was confirmed by the faculty of the college. The second year fee is lesser than the first year fee which is 14800 rupees only. The grand total of the MA English program is 36980 rupees.

Direct scholarship facilities are provided by the government of Bengal to all of the people who belong to SC, ST and OBC category of the society. A concession in the fee is provided to the student who belong to below the poverty line.

The environment of the university is very peaceful I have never seen a quarrel or any argument between any of the students of the college on the basis of any kind of discrimination. Anti ragging cell is placed by the faculty of the college to report such crimes. Extra curricular activities at our college includes sports and cultural events which makes the attitude of the students very positive.

4 boys hostels and 5 girls hostels are provided by the University of North Bengal. There is an international hostel for all of the foreign students who take admissions in the university. The facilities at the hostel are very hygienic and the food is also healthy and tasty.

The only way to get admission in MA English in this college is to have a bachelor degree in the same subject. Then you just have to apply for the admissions by visiting the campus of the college and filling up the admission form. Once the merit list is declared at the college, you need to check your name in the merit list and finally pay your fees.

The faculty at our college have vast experience of teaching students. The faculty is very friendly towards all of the students and the students often ask their problem from the concerned authorities of the faculty. The lectures are also based on thorough research and several training programs are provided to the faculty as well.
