- This course total cost 30,000 rupees in divide 6 semester in 3 year, this course have lots of scholarship, financial assistance like swami vivekananda merit cum mins scholarship was the best scholarship in west bengal
- The campus was beautiful and the professors were friendly and helpful.
- Placement services are also good . around 60 percent student get placed
Dislikes
- I really disliked how late our semester exam are held. this causes problem for 6th sem students as they can't apply for other places early.
- The placement is really not good and many of the students hated internships and jobs for the medical representative designation.
- The staff gets rude sometimes and are not helpful ( some of them)

- Knowledgeable and helpful professors. Professors here are well qualified and always eager to help.
- Big and clean classrooms with ac. The environment in the classrooms is quite good.
- Class size is not very big, around 45 students is perfect for a class.
Dislikes
- Shortage of professors, though the professors we have are very good and helpful, they fall short in numbers(especially in 1st year)
- Lab equipment can be better, physics and electronics lab fall short of equipment in terms both of quality and quantity.
- The curriculum teaches us the basics of what we would be needing in the professional field but it lacks the new improvements.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th sem.
From 2024 placements SMS group, PWC, TCS Digital, Airport Authority of India etc.
Around 50% from ECE opted for placements other opted for higher studies.
My plans are to apply for jobs.

- Teching Methods of Professors. They teach us in such a manner that we can understand.
- All the practical labs are neat and clean and the instruments have minimal error.
- The behavior of all the supprt staffs are appreciable.
Dislikes
- The behaviourn of the secretary is rude.
- University management always harass students in official works.
- They do not co-operate about filling up any forms and submitting.
Placement Experience:
The campus placements here are moderate. The companies like Accenture, Wipro, Infosys, TCS came here for placements. Their aveage packages are around 10 lpa. And their median package is 14.4 lpa. Overall their on campus placements are good.

- Affordability, it's too much good for RETURN OF INVESTMENT.
- THE UNIVERSITY GOT TOO MUCH Great ALUMNI LIKE JC BOSE,Sn bose, Meghnad saha etc.
- 100% placement scenario in JFT branch.We got Best textile companies in our country like Raymond, arvind textiles for job.
Dislikes
- It has 3 campuses, which are very far from each other.We need to go to the all three campuses for any application to get signed in.Which is hectic,I believe.
- Some branches has bad female to male ratio like CSE,IT ...it has very bad ratio like 5-6 female to rest 55 males
- Extracurricular clubs like nature club,dance club , singing club etc are needed here.Which we lacks currently.

From 6th semester onwards, Students can get placement offers.
Mainly mass recruiter companies like TCS, wipro, Infosys, cognizant comes here.Some top notch mncS like oracle,amazon, Microsoft also comes here .One senior of our previous batch got 1 cr Per annum in off campus way.
Avg package is 10 lpa like .
Jft and pst branch has full 100% placement.
My plan after getting the degree is to be placed in top notch mnc & work as SDE.

- FACULTY IS GOOD AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
- CLASSES ARE EQUIPPED WITH HITECH EQUIPMENTS
- TRAINING AND PLACEMENT ARE PROVIDED AND ALUMNI SUPPORT IS ALSO GOOD
Dislikes
- PLACEMENTS ARE BELOW PAR AND USUALLY LESS THAN AVG PACKAGE
- NO FEST IS HELD IN THE COLLEGE , SOCIAL LIFE IS NIL IN THESE COLLEGE
- SYLLABUS IS OUTDATED AND NOT ACCORDING TO CURRENT INDUSTRIAL SITUTATIONS

- The quality of professors and their way of teaching
- The campus and the labs are too good for engineering students
- The cost of college and hostel fees are quite affordable
Dislikes
- The leaves are very less and the curriculum is tough
- The study schedule is fixed and rigid, as the curriculum is tough
- The less number of fest organised and placement offers are a bit bad taste
Placement Experience:
The placements are very less. Average package of 2023 is 9LPA. If I don't get placed, I'll opt for reaserch programmes. As most of the students of University of Calcutta are more reaserch oriented scholars.

- the faculty of computer science and engineering is very good .
- the collage is very well fecility and clean .
- all the labs are very high end and very good to use

- no sports culture are there in this collage
- no festive or fresshers are done in this collage
- the campus is very small compare to others

- Course fee and infrastructure (there are ac in most of the room in the technology campus)
- Anti-ragging, the peers are very well behaving
- The professors are very good in teaching.
Dislikes
- There are nothing i dislike but the average package in placement
- The avarage package should be more as our peers are deserving
Placement Experience:
The placement in my colleges in not so bad. The campusing happens that is a big deal. But i am just upset about the packege that company offers in our college.
The percentage of students getting job from here is almost 90-95%
I would like to do further studies mtech after my btech degree

- The seniors are very helpful and friendly. They will guide you with everything you need in your freshers journey. Ragging free environment.
- The faculty members and the administration is very cooperative. They will always assist you with your problem. Discipline is the most important thing here.
- Good placements are also there. One of the best research facilities are available here. Campus is very peaceful and is ideal for one to concentrate in their studies.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year that is 5th semester students can join internships in companies.
Cognizant, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Haldia Petrochemical, Disney, Microsoft, and Amazon.
The University of Calcutta has industrial collaborations with companies like TCS, Business Brio, NASSCOM, and IXIA Technologies.
Placement percentage is around 85 because most of the students opt for higher education and phd.
If i get a good job above 20lpa then I will go for it for the experience and if not that much salary I will opt for MTech or MBA...not yet decided.

- I like the Enviroment the helpfull seniors faculty just the teaching this is need to improve more, more classes should be given by the college.
- I like the methods of treating students as a students justice for everyone
- As a musician always want to perform something like the way they give chance to students
Dislikes
- I dislike the teaching method teacher should teach more
- I dislike the canteen good food should be served to every student
- I dislike the aspect of boys and girl everywhere it should be equal
Course Curriculum Overview:
You can do apply anything with these course it is easy you can do other thing beside that. The teaching method should be improved more classes should be held hardly 10or 15 students come daily it need to be fixed.

- Most Professors are busy researching thier own

Students from 3rd yr 6th sem onwards are eligible for placement
Mostly IT and some core companies come here
Highest package is around 10LPA and average is 5Lpa
75% students do get a placement
I'm preparing for appearing in Gate and ese after degree
