The syllabus for BSc. Microbiology Hons. was in line with my interests. Few topics like virology, bacteriology, and diversity of the microbial workd are what drew my attention to pick this course. Although there are some portions which one would consider "boring", but I believe every subject has its interesting as well as boring portions. It's seems fair to judge a subject by seeing if the "boring" portions outweigh the "interesting" parts or not.

Geography is interesting, my interest lies in ths subject. One of the best departments of Asutosh College is Geography. It makes me knowledgeable, it will provide me with opportunities in future. The syllabus is too heavy. The burden should be lighten in the 1st and 2nd sems. Semester wise examinations are held. It is hard.

Physics honours is a very renowned and interesting course. The curriculum is very well maintained and teach how to apply physics in real world. The teacher should be learn how to teach the students breakfast they are actually teach the students a very different way. There are two exams in our college especially internal and external. Internal exams are not that strong enough but external is much more strong and conducted by University.

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness of the course curriculum, my rating is solid 4.1 out of 5. Because it offers a variety of courses like compulsory english, environmental science, constitution values of India, Inter Disciplinary Courses where one can opt for a variety of subjects which change along with the course proceeds or semester changes. Not only that two major papers and one minor paper are present throughout the semester. As a student we should be well aware of our country and its law as well as how we can keep our environment healthy followed by sustainable development.

I will like to rate the course curriculum 8.2/10. Yes, it is satisfying but there is some problems for students. As the rules of semester system, students have to face exams just after 6 months of their joining in their course. They have to appear in exams while they are just trying to adjust with the couse pressure.

Asutosh college is very good college for science group. Asutosh college has 7 professors for mathematics department. Similarly college has many professors for other depertment. College has a beautiful libery

Botany is no doubt one of the interesting subjects one can pursue. although it requires immense patience as thf course itself includes lot of practicals where u need to dissect plant parts which is not very quick..

My Course is all about Chemistry where we research with chemicals and my college help us in every step if it is theory or practical. The teachers are awesome . They help anytime whenever we need. They took many class tests for improvement our skills.

This course is not so common in between general people but you will have many scope in future and this course has high paid respectful jobs and also you have a strong affection towards maths and this course is very interesting..

Microbiology is a blooming subject although it would be fair to say that you would get a better job if you pursue your profession career abroad (UK USA)but with the upcoming of various biotechnological startups the demand of microbiologists is increasing at a farely high rate.You can pursue your career in the food industry and quality check industry with very high paying jobs Microbiology is a practical based subject and during your 4 year course you'll be taught the several methods of culturing bacteria ,viral assay and so many more real life technique So basically the 4 year degree is bsc microbiology consists of 8 semester .Each semester is of 6 months each until and unless some very genuine problem arises.Though the difficulty of the university exams is not that high but the checking is very strict.you must be thorough with your syllabus and be in touch with the subject and the syllabus .if you're consistent you will score good
