University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Course curriculum is good but need improvement and go with the current technologies. Teaching is good . The external exams that held in different centres need should be the centres that are nearby to the College. The courses should include newly introdused topics in respective subjects. Exams are difficult.

•My course is a very interesting and unique course. I was influenced to take this course by it's uncommon jobs for example, 'fishery officer', 'marine biologist' etc. •Our college is good at teaching this course, the professors are quite knowledgeable and sporting. • we also have field trips per semester. It not only gives us knowledge but also experiences. •Our faculty is one of the best.

In case of computer science department, placement is provided at the Last year of M.sc course. Many companies like Wipro, b10x, Tata visited here. Highest package ever is three lakh per annum. 20-40% of the students got placement after completing M.Sc computer science. My plan after B.sc is to pursue MCA.

My favourite subject was botany that's why I chose bsc honours in botany.the frequency and timings of the exams are very good and teaching method was very good. They teach us with board, projecter and cleanly explain all topic .

The new nep system for my subject microbiology is quite relevant. it is supposed to have internship and research according to 4-year program. the syllabus overall is convenient. teaching method is good and faculty are well advanced.

When I was in 12th my favourite subject was zoology here after hs I have decided to take zoology as a Hons for my career. In this 4 years curriculum course many opportunities will come & go you have to get that opportunities & use it to built a bright future of your career so many projects, internships are the part of this curriculum course

I am pursuing my course to do job in IT. Because all the background students go to do it jobs. It helps me do work on computers which is helpful for me and learn my things about computer. College has many buildings but main campus in jatin das park. They conduct exam in every 6 months and exam mode is medium .

The faculty is very good and talented. The curriculum helps to inculcate various life skills and helps to understand the subject properly. Exams are difficult but if the notes provided are sufficient enough.

I always wanted to do my higher studies related to biology. And microbiology is the best of all . But one thing it would be really better if our faculty members gives us more practical classes and extra classes like all the other departments

I really love geography from my childhood time . So i choose that course now . And asutosh college is very very good college for that course so i admitted in the college. I think there is no need to change anything.
