University of Calcutta Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I always scored higher marks in biology since school so i pursued this course for my higher studies. The new syllabus might seem a little difficult apparently but eventually it gets us accustomed to adapt in a new thing.

The course provides a research work in the fourth year to the students who obtained 7.5 CGPA in 3 years. The course follows the latest NEP(National Education Policy) curriculum. The facilities are well mannered and very professional in teaching, though they explain in native language. There are also a lot of free seminars which help improve the student's skill during the course. The old classrooms just need to be upgraded, instead of using the old projector and blackboard. The dates for the end semester examinations are decided by the university itself. However the teachers take a lot of mock tests for the students to prepare for the end semester examination.

My fav subject is biology and i have an interest about plant biology that's why i took admission in botany and it is very good subject to me... And our clg arrange many seminar for ourselves to grow the knowledge and interest about the subject and for these i thought it will give better result in our further journey..

You can easily get a corporate job by choosing this course that's why I choose this course. The curriculum perpares me very well for real world applications and etc. Teaching methods are pretty much good. Difficulty level is very high.

There are bright opportunities for students undertaking post-graduation studies due to the well-structured course curriculum offered. But When I got into this college, my friends told me that I would not get placements, However, a few private companies come and recruit students.

I'm pursuing Bsc Geography Honours from Asutosh College under Calcutta University. This is a subject of physics, chemistry, Masscom etc. Specially teachers are too good and the teaching level is very nice. For each depertment, there is 7 teachers. The exams are so difficult and college authority obey the university's rules.

In the terms and conditions,my teaching area for improvement is too good. In my college there are many faculty,they are too good to teach me ,I will be right to choose this course for my future.There are medium range of duration time.

To be very honest this college is not much into academics proffesors are not much responsible with their course by the way they are always ready to help keep in mind u have to study by your own mostly to survive in this college. Although This is one of the best colleges under Calcutta University u have responsible on your own

The seminar which helds in our college that is so much predictable That's very appreciative to us and we learn more from this A good classroom we needed very much The frequency and timing is very different for us
