Likes

College study is so good. That's why we don't have to take too many private tutor.
Library facility is much good. There is many types of books for Honours, Major and general students.

Dislikes

I've no idea about it. I don't see any bad thing in college atmosphere.
Outer side of the college is full of smokers.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm pursuing Bsc Geography Honours from Asutosh College under Calcutta University. This is a subject of physics, chemistry, Masscom etc. Specially teachers are too good and the teaching level is very nice. For each depertment, there is 7 teachers. The exams are so difficult and college authority obey the university's rules.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 8240 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Some teachers take tutions. But after college studies we don't want any private tutor. There is a chance to consession for poor students. 100% scholarships granted by college. Specially SVMCM scholarship and Kanyashree for girls. For geography honours the amount is 8240.

Campus Life

In Asutosh College there is 13 festivals in 12 months as Bengalis each for Hindus and other communities. In library , there are every type of books for Honours, Major and general students. No , no student-run, social groups, clubs or student portals including their impact on student life.

Admission

Eligibility is above 80% to apply and it can be applied by cyber cafe or websites. There is no reservation. There is 28 departments. Exam is scheduled by University of Calcutta. You can apply direct from website. Otherwise consult to a cyber cafe.

I took artificial intelligence to gain knowledge about it . But the other curriculums like yoga which is necessary to attend making it heard. Teaching method should be improved because some of our faculty is very poor in teaching
