UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I completed my MCA from Bodoland University, I pretty much enjoyed my whole course duration here. The faculty always helped us, and my friends always supported me in learning. The college infrastructure is also quite good, and well functioning labs helped me practice at college well.

The system of backlogs was very unfair at our time, as our Seniors, if they had any backlogs, their CGPA would be capped 2.0/4.0~60%. However, when we got admitted in college, the whole pointer structure changed for us. We had the Pointer system set to 10.0 instead of 4.0. Nothing changed for our seniors though. If they still got a backlog, their CGPA would be capped 2.0/4.0~60%. However, if we got a backlog, our CGPA would be capped to 5.0/10.0~50% which made it pretty unfair as Companies that come for Placement don't accept students with a CGPA less than 60%. Also, the backlog fees was too high. 4000rs for each subject.

Positive - Location, you'll love the place where it is located. You'll be in love with the city and will want to go back after tou passout.Negative - 75% attendance. Transport problem if you live nearby college.

Yes, they are very helpful, and also after placement, we are in regular touch with them.

Good remarks 1. The college has an awesome location between the hills 2. The faculty is very supportive 3. The sports arrangements are good 4. The students are really friendly 5. The curriculum is really precise and good 6. The college hosts remarkably good events each semester Bad remarks 1. The college is a little far from the city center 2. Not alot of eating option near college 3. No fixed schedule for classes, the schedule changes every week which gets very confusing.

No bad remarks for this college at last infrastucture and faculties are having best knowledge as compare to different colleges.

There is nothing much to say negative about the college. It has excellent facilities and good set of teachers. College always encourages students to bring students talents out and also have a great alumni and placement records.

College as such is good only but a student has to be in their control or else there are high chances that the students might get spoilt as there are places which influence the students badly around the campus but since exposure is high it's good to study here

Like the two sides of a coin, every college has it's own positives and negatives. It's a wonderful experience to be here. The climate is very nice and campus also is very beautifull. Education system is also good.

If the college lowers the fees then it will be very easy to get the job thourough this college. Although the curriculum is very good and the same is infrastructure.
