Good University for Computer Science

I completed my MCA from Bodoland University, I pretty much enjoyed my whole course duration here. The faculty always helped us, and my friends always supported me in learning. The college infrastructure is also quite good, and well functioning labs helped me practice at college well.

The course curriculum was quite good, the syllabus covered all the important subjects like automata, data structures and algorithms, operating systems, computer network, compiler design and so on. We also had some electives in our semesters. The examination was held on a semester basis. The college also organised internal examinations to help us prepare for main examinations.

The placement and job opportunities are pretty good, but one can easily apply to test their skills in online hackathons and coding challenges by top companies, which provide good chances of being placed.

The fee for my MCA was around Rs. 23,000 charged every semester, which I found to be quite feasible for the course. The total fee for the whole MCA duration at Bodoland University summed up to around Rs. 68,000.

There are many scholarships available for students of weaker sections of society at the state and university level. Scholarships for meritorious students are also provided as fee concession. One can always apply for a state-level scholarship for getting a scholarship.

The University has good participation in sports as well as holds timely co-curricular events. Many workshops are also organised for grooming skillsets in students. The college has good and well-equipped labs and libraries with a good number and variety of books.

For student intake, the university conducts an entrance test yearly. The university also intakes students based on merit. I took admission to Bodoland University through entrance examination because I had bad grades in my BCA. After securing a good rank in the entrance examination, I entered Bodoland Univerisity as an MCA student. The admission process was quite easy and manageable.

The faculty was quite skilled and well-qualified professionals with good working and teaching experiences. The teachers always shared their professional experiences with us and helped us learn the basics with ease, delivering them to us in the easiest of ways possible. We gained a lot of important skills under the faculty.
