The infrastructure is great and it's clean.
The college supports the people who have talent in special field.

Dislikes

The behaviour of the support staff is not that good
The teacher are less for my particular course.
The boys are more as compared to girls in this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The aspects that made me to choose this course is it's cheap In this college and the distance from my house is less that's the major reason! More teaches should be added for our course. The exams are quite frequent after admission of 4 months there is sessional exam and in the end it's final exam!

Class Size: 900Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is cheaper than other college it's rupees 12000 per year this means 6000 rupees per semester. There are scholarship offers to for ST, SC and OBC's They can avail for the benifits given. The fees of my batchmates are also same.

Campus Life

There are lot of functions like cultural programs, Awareness programs, Teacher Day etc. There is the central library in my college and it consist of lot of books. Technology like smart board and computer are provided and also free wifi. Also gym is there in my college. Never heard of social groups.

Admission

The reason is simple this was the nearest college for the course I have choosed. Also the fees is cheap that's the major reason as already mentioned. I have applied to other colleges too and from others too I got blue tick but this was the nearest one so I went with it!

Faculty

The behaviour of the support team should be improved because they don't know what problems can student face and they have no idea how to fix it! There are 2 exams in six months one is sessional and other is final. Other faculties are good enough the way other behaves it's pretty good.

Night Life

There is gym in this college, cafeteria,central library with various books on different topics. Hostel is average like other hostels not much information about hostels. There are no famous places outside and Inside but students chill in restaurant outside the college. During night the college is closed

Bodoland University the life of student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I thought that the couse duration is less in this college but it was my misconception (but its less in thier website and in reality its different). If you think that they will prepare you for real world application then its your mistake nah they don't! They should teach student about where to implement what they are teaching! The exam is always in 6 months that means twice a year.

A brief description about Tezpur University

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the course that I am pursuing here is "MCA". This course was first introduced in Tezpur university in around 1994 . This was the first university in Assam to introduced this course with respect to that and as well as many people suggested me to get enrolled here if I get a chance...as this university is very well know in our state and I didn't wanted to go outside of state for my masters... Many of the offered courses are related to real-world based scnerios and provides a good knowledge about how things works outside. Nothing much is needed to improve as many highly educated teachers and professors are present here...but the way of teaching of some profs should be changed as no one is able to understand what some professors speaks or tries to make my understand things. The way they teach is not appropriate as we are not able to understand the concept behind... The frequency and timing of the exam is all good as the exams are divided into fours parts so students have to study for the exams as because without studying no one can pass from here...as the exam sitting arrangements are very strict and observes everything...

So they train us very well I feel very experienced and how it feels often before I used to get confused and nervous I would rate the curriculum a 7 because it trains us how to survive and cope up with difficult situations and how to interact and yes I would like to tell u guys to improve on ur interaction a little bit more and try multi language explanations for a better understanding the timings are okay I m fine and the frequency is kind of okish and the exams are kind of tough

Pros and Cons of study in NERIM, Guwahati

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course as it gives me an open field to explore in the software sector. There are 20 to 25 members of the faculty. Student ratio 2:1. All the faculty members are MCA and MSc IT holders. Some of them are Ph.D. holders as well. Their teaching method is very good. It works for me pretty well. There are one end-semester exam and two internal exams. The difficulty level is quite hard.

A very reputed University in Assam

Remarks:

The positivity of our University is that our University is one of the most reputed University in Assam. Many students from outside of Assam came here to study. And I think the negativity of our University is only that it provides reservation system based on caste, which is not right I think.
