Should I go for NMIMS BBA or Shiv Nadar BMS?

BBA and BMS are two different courses. When making a choice between NMIMS BBA and Shiv Nader BMS, give preference course over institute. Choose what interests you more. On an overall scale, NMIMS BBA is a slightly better choice. Due to the locational advantage, you will get good exposure. You can do internships and projects while pursuing your BBA. NMIMS placements are good for BBA. The salary packages offered goes up to INR 12 LPA.

Shiv nadar is a good college to get into

The yearly fees we pay is 7,00,000 in which 5,00,000 is tuition fees and the rest is hostel fees. But this is subject to increment every year. There are options for financial aid and the university also lends out student education loans. There are also many kinds of scholarship like merit based, sports etc.

Real Experience

The year-wise fees for BMS are around 4.5 lakhs including the laundry, mess, and accommodation changes. The amount can vary a little bit according to the room you choose. There is no category for lab fees for BMS. There are a few scholarships which include a merit-based scholarship- a 25% waiver on the fees, a Scholarship for candidates from Low-income households Income- a 100% waiver on tuition and hostel charges, a Sports Scholarship, a College Board India Scholarship, School Topper's Scholarship. The Start of My Shiv Nadar University Journey!

Fees for 1 year is 5.6L and for new batch it has increased to 7L. This is probably due to the demand for the course. There are two scholarships: merital based scholarship and sports scholarship provided for students. I have completed only the first year and from what I know there are On Campus Jobs provided to students (during vacations too).

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course is a four year management course which makes applying to colleges abroad easier as they consider a valid management course to be 4 years compared to a 3 year BBA course. The faculty are all top. Notch from my experience so far, they help the students in whichever way they can, the professors are easy to approach and teach their subjects well. The term exams occur every 3 months. If one pays attention to the course content while its being taught, it is fairly easy to pass and score well.

The course curriculum for the major degree (management) was an amalgamation of finance, business, marketing, strategy as well as negotiations. It provided a holistic experience for the professional world. The academics as a whole is too a diverse area. Students can choose courses from various other streams to improve learning. For example, a management student can do their major as well courses from engineering and arts. The faculty puts in a lot of effort to impart their knowledge. It is not only class room based study but also personal development studies. There are a lot of projects for one to do increase their confidence and skills.

I got a 90% scholarship based on 12th percentage. There were different bands like more than 90% for 90+ and 50% for 80+.now the university offers scholarship to only economically weaker Students from 2020.

The scholarship facility is amazing because all students are offered different scholarships amounts which is offered on the basis of the board results and the entrance exam. There are different bands of scholarships.
