- Some of the profs are really very great as they encourage us to think outside of the box.

- The number of shops are very less in the college campus, which is very bad.
- This year 2023-2024 , the placement stats has dropped due to recession all among the world leading to less hiring opportunities for freshers.

yeah the placements are going good but the issue right now is lay offs . and girls are benifitted a lot as the companies hire girls easily relative to boys in general they say. the companies which visit our college are like oracle, google etc.,

Placement Experience:
IIITA is best known for its coding culture and amazing placement. Every year 98% of the batch gets placed with average package 29-30 lakhs.
The collage make 1cr+ CTC per annum as highest package every and 12-15lakhs CTC per annum as it's minimum package. This amazing placement package is because of the only top 120 -150 companies visit the campus which includes Google,Apple,meta,Amazon,J&P Morgan and list goes on.
After getting degree as any other student want get placed in top companies with maximum package possible.

- Cultural fest is very good here, last year darshan raval came here to perform
- Coding culture is one of the best thing over here.

- Campus size is small, so campus life is not that well.
- Very hectic schedule, back to back examinations.
- Boys hostel is outside the main campus, it has to be inside the campus.
Placement Experience:
In 4th year companies start visiting for campus placements. Many companies have visited like google, microsoft, zomato, sprinkler, Atlassian, etc. We have around 92% placement here. Highest package was 1.4 crore last year which was off campus. If we will talk about on campus then 82.5 lakh which was given by Atlassian. I am also planning to have job after degree as of now.

- Good hostels with ample space and cleanliness as opposed to other colleges.

- Extracurriculars are not up to the mark as compared to other institutes.

Placement Experience:
Placement season begins in 4th year and IIITA boasts some of the best Average and Median Package out of Engineering colleges in our country with a huge 34 LPA average package in the 2022-23 season. 99% of eligible students are placed in a variety of companies.

Campus placements begin during the final year of college. Placements are fairly good here. Numerous companies visit the campus and the hiring is done. Till last year, for Btech, there has been 100 percent placements.

From the 5th 6th semester students begin to find internship opportunities. Placements are provided from the 3rd year, avg package of 2022 was around 30 lacs, there is a high percentage of students who get placed in decent companies

- The formation of Ethics Committee which restricts the freedom of college students and make campus life suffocating.
- Life at IIITA is academically really hectic and hard to deal with.
- There is not enough transparency regarding the course structure and examination evaluation process.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for internship in third year and for placements after the completion of fourth year. A very good percentage of students, that is, about 95% and above get placed every year. The average package for 2022 we're 34-35 LPA. The placements of IIITA are commendable.

IIIT Amethi is situated near a village named Tikarmafi, 10 km away from Amethi. It has its own perks. Here are some factors about the institute.
Academics:
- Both IIIT Allahabad and IIIT Amethi have the same curriculum and professors. Because of that, professors visit the Amethi campus on a daily basis.
- As almost everything is similar for both campuses, the exams are also conducted parallelly in both of them, making them at par for things related to academics.
Placements:
- Students of IIIT Amethi are shifted to the campus of IIIT Allahabad after their 4th year, securing them placements similar to the Allahabad campus.
- Needless to say, IIIT Allahabad does come with good placements. IIIT Amethi also enjoys the same privilege as placement is same for both the institutes.
Facilities and Infrastructure:
- This is exactly where you can set the contrast between the two campuses. IIIT Amethi lacks good infrastructure. It is a very compressed campus with only two boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel.
- There had not been any sports facilities in the institute before. But at present, it has standard Basketball courts, a Badminton court, TT tables and a playground for cricket.
- The labs and libraries are minuscule too. It can hardly support the strength.
- Besides, you might also not find any up-to-the-mark food items around the campus, but just snacks to keep the day going.
- There’s an option to take a bus ride to visit a town nearby, Sultanpur, which helps in a way to let students escape from the everyday life at Amethi, and rather spend time in that area, or buy decent food.
IIIT Amethi does have its fair share of disadvantages but it offers good placement in top-notch MNCs such as Google, Facebook, and Adobe, etc. Also, the pros outweigh the con for IIIT Amethi.
