SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement season for our batch ,i.e, 2025 batch started in the month of july and it is still going on. Many students have gotten good offers with the hightest package going upto 52 LPA offered by Microsoft till now, Since it is just September and theres 3 more months for the palcemnet season to get over we can expect the highest package to increase, DEfinitely SRM provides a lot of oppertunities For CSE branch as most of the companies are software companies, but there still are a lot of companies that come fro core branches as well with great packages. I got placed in Schneider Electric which is a core company. S

From 5th semester onwards, pre placement offers start coming for students and they also get to start going for internships from this semester. A lot of big companies come during this time like Goldman sach, jp Morgan, Barclays, etc. for final placements Microsoft, zoho, Google and bigger companies hire from our college. As far as I know the highest package was 2 crores for an ECE student in 2022. My plans after getting degree is to get some work experience before going for higher studies.

I chose BS Physics, because it has research prospects. Our curriculum is designed in such a way that it encourages us to keep learning and it also provides the right motivation. Last year we had National physics conclave, here in SRM and we had professors researchers from all over India, to enlighten us on what they were pursuing

From the 6th semester you are asked to sit for placement classes and you will be trained 2 semesters for this There are plenty of companies like TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT AND ZOHO The highest was around 4500000 and the least was 400000 per year The percentage is around 80% from placement and others go for masters or startups Am planning for masters after my btech

We become eligible for campus placement starting from the 7th semester giving us enough time to build a strong academic foundation and develop necessary soft skills . Many top companies such as TCS, Infosys , Microsoft, amazon , Google , Wipro visited . A total of 600 companies visited the campus this year making 10000 job offers in total . The highest package was 46 lakh and averaged package stood around 7 lakh among various streams . Around 95% of students were placed . My plans after completing my degree is to pursue a career as software engineer in tech giants like Google , Microsoft, amazon or continue my education with a specialised postgraduation course to deepen my knowledge and expertise.

Students become eligible for campus placements from 7th semester itself. Many companies visited this year such as Wipro, TCS, Adobe, JP Morgan etc. More tha 90 % of the students got placed this year. Almost every student gets placed. If you don't get placed then you can opt for Masters. If you work upon your skills, no one can stop ypu from cracking a good placement. My plan is to work upon my skills and to get a good placement from college itself.

Big companies are hiring in this campus. Salary is based on the course we are reading. Average salary is 20000 per month and 200000 per year. And the percentage of students getting placed is higher only.

The course curriculum at srm is generally well regarded for its revelance and comprehensiveness and particularly in technical and professional programs. It's is designed to industry oriented with frequent updates the curriculum offers a good balance of core and elective courses providing a strong foundation while allowing students to specialise in areas of interest the curriculum could be beneficial from more frequent updates to keep pace with rapidly evolving fields and a greater focus on developing skills

There are college placements offered, the college starts preparing intrested students from third year onwards offering help and mentorship programs, on an average the packages are 6-9 LPA but the highest package has gone up till 1Cr PA personally i am not interested in placements as i wanna go for higher studies

The campus placement of this college are very good and many major companies recruit from here. The seniors and alumnis have good reviews about the placement scenario in this college. Some notable seniors have jobs in mercedes f1 team etc.
