SLIET Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements of the college was not good in past but from recent 2-3 years Placements records are going well. Highest package of this college is 23 lpa which is grabbed by a girl in 2021 in Walmart company. Around 60-70% students placed from this college. I will go for gate exam after the degree.

There are a lot of companies who comes for recruitment in SLIET. But for Diploma course there is not good package offered. So after Diploma, You should pursue the Btech degree and go for the placement. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, HCL, Amazon, Ralson, HP, etc. visit for the placement. The highest campus placement in SLIET Campus is 12.5Lakh p.a. in 2019. There is a average package of 3.5lakh p.a. for CSE department with Placement rate of 80%.

I chose this course because I wanna be a software engineer. The Professor, Associate Professor's, Assistant Professor's everyone is good and have good behaviour. They have experience of more than 25 to 30 yrs.

Placement is not as good as expected, students are placed in a very less number so the ratio of placed students becomes very low. It can be improved if students will try much more and become prepared to get a placement in a very good company.

The placement is Good. Students are eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. Approx 50+ companies visited every year. Also good company came like Tcs, Infosys, Wipro, IBM, cognizant, Walmart, Hindustan Unilever Ltd. etc. Approx 80% placement every year 90% from CSE, 80% from ECE, 75% from EE, ME also good placement for Chemical Technology and Food Technology student. In This year the highest package offer was 23Lp.a And also placement rate increase every year

After 3rd year you can go for an Internship but I think there is no PPO so, you can only be eligible in your final year based on your CGPA. In computer science, 80%-90% of students got placed and some of them go for higher studies. In mechanical engineering, 60%-80% got placed in this way the overall average placement of SLIET is greater than 4 LAKH/ per annum. In 2021 highest package was going around 23 lakh/per annum. Many reputed companies visit like TCS, BYJU'S, TECH MAHINDRA, GODREJ, SAMSUNG, TATA PROJECTS LTD, SONALIKA, HUL, HP, INTERSOFT, HONDA, PEPSICO, ETC. Some students also prepare for UPSC and GATE, and they go for Higher studies.

The placement of the college is good and approx 80-85 % of students get placed through campus placement by the Placement Cell of the college. Students become eligible for internships after the 4th semester and become eligible for placements after the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Mahindra, etc visit colleges for placements. The highest package this year was 23 L p.a. with an average of 4 L p.a. I'm thinking of placements after my degree.

Highest package this year was of 23Lp.a. and average package was of 4L p.a. More than 80% of students have been placed through campus placements this year. I'm also looking for a decent job after my degree.

From the 7th-semester students become eligible for placements. This year companies visited were HCL, Cognizant, Wipro, Walmart, Microsoft, TCS. Highest package was 23 LPA, average package was 5 LPA, 85-90% students got placed.

Students can be placed in last year and it's remote location so not many companies come but still there is pool campus. Almost all students from CSE can get places and highest package this year was from ECE ~ 23 lakh/annum. My plans after getting a degree is to dive in exciting field of CSE.
