Integrated MBA at GNDU: Fees, Placement and Campus Life Breakdown

Likes

The teachers are understanding and help alot before exams
The university allows liberty to students to host events and fest with just a few permissions and restrictions. But students are encouraged and supported by teachers completely.
The infrastructure is also decent for students and classes also have projectors for digital understanding of various business topics.

Dislikes

The access to department library is limited. It has certain timings so students have to go to whole other way from the department to the main library which is time consuming
The exams are held twice with less time gap and thus syllabus sometimes is completed in a hurry
The canteen doesn't have any healthy food options and sometimes lack hygiene

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester or 4th year. Many companies like HDFC, ICICI, Local companies and firms visit for placement drive for various roles. The average package offered by university is around ?3-4 lakhs but only 30-40% of students successfully secure the on-campus placements.

Experience of my college is to good & nice
Their have most festival for build confidence
Have to placement opportunities for students

Dislikes

Hostel.mess food sometimes not properly cool
Sometimes water facilities may arise in hostel
Sometime sweepers are not properly work .

Placement Experience:

Firstly students when In in 3 semester they gives the offer for in sit in the placement Their have many companies to visit And also gives.the package to.check.their.ability Those students in ist division get the placement

Life in college

Likes

The faculty members is of nice nature and all are of helping
The university is full of greeny environment
The department infrastructure is also good to see

Dislikes

The toilet is not properly well cleaned and also wash basin is not in toilet
Classroom is too hot in summer season so students face difficulty in study
There is only theory knowledge less use of practical knowledge

Placement Experience:

Some of the placement is good but not all as a financial management students there are very less placement drive for finance every placement is for marketing and also the package is not good as a MBA students

Likes

The amenities like hostels, sports and studies are amazing.
All faculty members are PHD holders and the teaching methods are amazing.
They provide the sessions for students development.

Dislikes

Canteens are not very much effective and hostel mess too.
Parking fees is little bit high, but students manages it

Placement Experience:

From second last semester students become eligible for campus placements. The company visited are HDFC, ICICI, Jaro education, TCS etc. average package is 5 LPA and highest is 15 LPA. 50% Students will get placement..My plans after degree is just to work for earnings.

Likes

Teaching staff and experienced professors
Good environment and culture of the university
Various cultural activities like youth fest interdepartment competition and so on.

Basically the campus placement are there but the more scope is for btech and marketing background here. My future plans are to go for off campus placement as I want to do job in Accounts Payable in a good company.

At first GNDU university had a good name in society and they also provide many types of courses in different schemes like graduation and post graduation , PHD , diploma and other courses and they too provide placements and internship in many streams
They give scholarship to poor students and special seats for disable students and they had a separate scholarship for sc and st students under dr br ambedkar scholarship scheme these steps help poor people to study and better their financial position
Their are many fests and activities going on all over the year in our University like they had diwali fest they organise youth fest and many different types lf activities take play their in university

Dislikes

Their is no cleaness in classroom and washroom i
They doesn't provide full fee concession for the students who really cant afford education as specially for general category
They charge very high fees for getting seat in their university if their is shortage of seats

Placement Experience:

There are placement packages starting from 6lakh onwards and above according to companies and they give best placement of you had done BTech from guru nanak Dev University because very high package is offered for btech students

Only teachers are good they help alot and guide you

Dislikes

I got placement at khanna paper mill in amritsar but there joining is from 1st jan 2024 but my hod didn’t gave me exemption because of that i lost my opportunity . I am the only one from mba who got placement
75% attendance is worst criteria because of that i lost my placement and hod didnt gave me exemption

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think mba should b a practical course but in mba they are teaching us only theory as i am a Financial management student i dont have enough practical knowledge i only have theory knowledge so mba shpuld. Be a practical course where students can learn more practical experience of business

Likes

The greenery and beauty of the nature in the campus
The well qualified teachers of the department (USFS)
The technological facilities provided in the classrooms

Dislikes

The messed-up areas of canteens and cafeteria
The drinking water facilities in the department
The long hours of the lectures (one hourly lectures)

Placement Experience:

From the first or starting semester, students are eligible for the campus placements. As, each and every student can apply for the placements in the campus. The companies like, IBT, ICICI, HDFC, Amazon, Kochar tech. Etc. company's placements are offered in the campus. And vast offers made by them. The highest packages offered by the companies are near about 10-12 lac annually or average package is about 2 lacs annually. Many students get placements in the campus. My plans after getting the degree is to get a better job in the company sector either banking sector.

Gurudwara sahib and mandir and library and cooperative teachers and universities functions .
Teachers behaviour towards students is very good . Classes are neat and clean
Sirji rocks is good entertainer of gndu .in all functions of universities he never miss the chance to entertain the audience.

Dislikes

No canteens near my department . My department is too far from main gate.
Exams are very difficult and teachers do not give numbers .
No hate for University. My university is too too good .

Placement Experience:

Campus gave many opportunities to students . There are different clubs in University such as drama club , music club etc . University also provide placement to students . Overall gndu University is far better than other government universities.
