University Life

MBA (Finance) would lead to higher aspects in company sector, industries as well as banking also. Thus, I opted for this course. The curriculum prepared me for further challenges in job and life. It would teaches me to face the hard situations of the industry as well. The improvement should be in the course curriculum, as the timings of classes are very rigid. It should be less than 1 hour or about 40 minutes (each lecture). The teaching is very better, but there are many scholars who are presenting working as teachers. There should be more senior teachers availed for the students. The timings of exams are very rigid, As after completing the MSTs we have to look further upon the majors the number of classes are very less and syllabus is much. So, we have to face much difficulty in preparing the exams.

The companies like Amazon, Kochar tech, ICICI, HDFC etc offered various internships in the university campus for the roles like sales executives, Insurance agents etc. The projects are many offered by the companies to accomplish and accordingly the outcomes of those projects. Like we are asked to complete a project of making or preparing a dashboard by the company IBT, as they came for the internship or placements project.

From the first or starting semester, students are eligible for the campus placements. As, each and every student can apply for the placements in the campus. The companies like, IBT, ICICI, HDFC, Amazon, Kochar tech. Etc. company's placements are offered in the campus. And vast offers made by them. The highest packages offered by the companies are near about 10-12 lac annually or average package is about 2 lacs annually. Many students get placements in the campus. My plans after getting the degree is to get a better job in the company sector either banking sector.

The tuition fee is very high in the university campus as in the course of MBA (Finance). But as under the scholarship scheme I have benefited and didn't need to pay any tuition fee (high charges). The complete cost of my course is about 3 lacks for two years and the exam fee is except about 5000 Rs. Every major exams.and there's also some other fest charges which are compulsory (may vary). The scholarship is Dr. Ambedkar scholarship and the amount is as compared to the course's fee (may vary to the course's). University campus also provides the employment/internships timely but I didn't have opted for any job employment/internship here, As, a fresher. But I would like to get internship/employment as well in further future.

The annual festivals are held in the university campus are Jashan which annually held in the days of March for approx 5 days (every year), the Youth-fest is yearly happend in the October for about a full month (every year). And there are many other technical festivals also which held in the campus on department wise. The range of books available in the library is very vast and wide, as We can get the each and every type of book from the library. And wide range of journals also from the library. There are various technological facilities provided in the classrooms. As, there are the projectors provided in the classrooms. There are wide range of sports and extracurricular activities are offered in the university campus. (eg. Cricket, Basketball, Volleyball, Chess, Ludo, Judo, Hockey etc) There are many social groups, student portal running in the campus. There is the student welfare group, which works for the betterment of the students and take action against the happenings of student.

I opted MBA (Finance), eligibility is two years. About the application form, application fees and application dates you can get information on gndu.ac.in (online) or from administration block also (offline) by visiting the university campus. I've availed the reservation benefits as Scheduled Caste and my course fees diluted from 3lacks (approx) to just 1300, by getting scholarship by Punjab government. So, I just need to pay-back the scholarship whichever I've got by Punjab government to the campus 100% and thus my fees is deducted from that scholarship amount. The exams are held in semester wise, MSTs & Majors and the exam level is very tough to clear and no cheating is going to be held here, the teachers are very strict. The areas in the backgate and the gardens should be improved, as there's no one to take care of that place. The canteens, shops and cafes should be no messed up and be cleaned, As the places should be safe and secure for the campus' students to study there safely.
