Gadvasu and its life!!

Likes

Campus life is so good that i enjoy being in the campus as the teachers are so cooperative with the students they help us in each and every aspect of life.
University provides us the number of cases from the field which we could enjoy learning a lot from it..as this is the best university in india for veterinary..
College mates are so supportive and university also provides us to play a number of games and particiption in competition on all india level..

Dislikes

Hostel management is not so good..hostels are not safe as regular picking up of vehicles from hostels are there but hostel management just ignore it and said it minor loss..
Hostel discipiline is jst not good!!but it is due to less cooperative hostel staff!!
Infrastructure of hostel is old which should have to be renewed but students although have to do it by itself!!

Placement Experience:

Employment is so good as the there are many jobs waiting after this in the marketing sector in govt sector or in the private companies or on the farm practices so lot ot the jobs are there after this.

Likes

India's Top Ranking university among all the veterinary universities. Located in the heart of punjab(Ludhiana).
Have owns farms for various practices for undergraduate and postgradate students.
Having a Multispeciality veterinary hospital for both small and large animals. Have facilities like X ray, USG and dialysis.

Dislikes

Sometimes Cases from allover punjab came so schedule become very hectic for students.
Sometimes guest lecture from international faculties are there.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Exams are held 4-5 times in a proffessional year depending on the subjects(courses) offered in that particular year. The different year have different subjects which are based on the credit hours as allotted by the guidelines of the ICAR, New Delhi.

Likes

Veterinary Course is very good and a professional degree.
Infrastructure of GADVASU is just mesmerizing.

Dislikes

Hostel infrastructure was not upto the mark.

Placement Experience:

Placements are one of the highlights of GADVASU. GADVASU guarantees you with High placement ratio. Moreover, You can go to private clinics, govt. jobs are plenty. One can also go for NAVALE if he/she is interested in going abroad.

Admission:

Students passing 1+2 with physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects with 50% marks are eligible for apply for the CET exam which is a college entrance exam for students willing to study BVSC Curriculum .Even AIPVT is acceptable.

The admission procedure has the following steps. first you have to fill the application form I fill the form online but you can also get it from the college. When you have to appear for the exam called CET GADVASU or you have to give NEET to get admission.

best college for studies of Veterinary Science

Remarks:

The best thing about our university is NCC and there were excellent faculty and well-developed labs and the institute gives me a lot of knowledge. For me, college life is the best life. Also, the bond between the teachers and students is very appreciable which also boost their knowledge.

Well-reputed college.

Remarks:

More events could be made possible in this college which is a small drawback. Other than that, I dont find any negative side to it. Classrooms are big enough to hold a huge number of students at the same time. Internet facility is available.

College management was sometimes baised in case of fights at hostel level and then punishment by the management to both the parties due to some links with the professors.
