Is there any scholarships for an OBC student in veterinary college Ludhiana GADVASU from AIQ NEET?

I have a friend who attends GADVASU. He got admission to the institute back in 2018. According to him, back then, any student who got admission in college other than home state through AIQ was given a scholarship of INR 3000 per month. The other scholarships that GADVASU offers are University Scholarship, Sports Scholarships, etc.

The good college life.

I have a self financed seat my fees is more than what a general category students pays. My fees was 781000/ annum with a bit of price hike every year & a general seat student would pay near to 91000/ annum. Yea there is GS Khush scholarship for weaker section students. Top 8-10 students get a monthly scholarship of 500 each. Otherwise the college is very good. There is adequate facilities and very good opd in all 3 sections surgery, gynaecology and medicine.

The life in GADVASU

In my case, I got scholarships! First of all, my university is a goverment University. And I got admission from government quota. I had a good rank during the admission time and got 1000/month scholarship for my 1st year. Next to this, it presents different scholarships for categories as well as for those whose family income is below certain limit. And I applied for it . And I got 37000 tuition fee refund which I gave during my first year. Anyone eligible under criteria can apply for the scholarships. There is sports quota and scholarships also. Further relaxation can be done by talking to the committee members and further to Dean sir for further relaxation in fees. Anyone can check fee structure and scholarships in prospectus available on official website of gadvasu.

Amazing experience

My college is only semi government college in the punjab and all the faculty is so good here. Mine seat is managemental here and it is some expensive as my fees is 8lakh. But there is also seat which cost 2.5 lakh yearly.
