Admission to my course happens on the basis of NEET marks. But my university offers many more courses such as in dairy science, fisheries and biotechnology. Fir general category marks should be around 540 in neet. Reserved categories get benefits, there is quota for SC,ST,OBC,BC, border area, rural area etc. anyone can read about all this on gadvasu's official site. We have 3 internal exams during a year and 1 external exam at the end of the year. Then if we have 3 subjects in first year then practicals for these subject will be held after externals in 2 portions. Students can easily reach admission office. It generally happens near dean's office. Every staff is very supportive and will help in any case. There is canteen just outside the college so parents and students can also sit there and have some snacks. There are many canteens in my campus which also provide proper meals.

Earlier Admission was through an entrance exam for Veterinary conducted by GADVASU itself but now admission is through the NEET exam conducted by NTA. Admission is based on merit. You can find the application forms on the official website of GADVASU.
This college was a part of GAT-B participating institutions. I selected it because it was near to my home city i.e. New Delhi. The labs are very well maintained with all the needed equipment. Research happens with a very experienced faculty. Through GAT-B I get a scholarship stipend of Rs. 5000 per month but they give so in about 6- 7 months after the admission. The hostel is also well maintained. The college is quite a distance from the hostel so one needs a Scotty or a Bicycle in here. You will be allotted your advisor at the end of the first semester itself and you need to start preparing for your thesis work from thereon. This would depend on the advisor that you will be given.
Candidates willing to take admission in B.tech programme need to apply for CET exam held by the college itself, the students are allotted seats based on their rank in the exam. And the eligibility is anyone who passed 10+2 from any recognized university with 50%.
Students passing 1+2 with physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects with 50% marks are eligible for apply for the CET exam which is a college entrance exam for students willing to study BVSC Curriculum .Even AIPVT is acceptable.
