It is a five year course with many interesting facts and subjects like Veterinary Anatomy, Veterinary Biochemistry, Veterinary pathology. Practical classes are also arranged by the college every week.

Placement Experience

Our college promises 100% placement ,one of the top college in term of placement. We have top MNC's coming for recruitment,, our Seniors got placed in organizations like Stud Farms, Neospark Drugs and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd, State Animal Husbandry Department(punjab).

College Events

Our college organize various events like Book Exhibition, NCC Activities, Pashu palan mela. We have chief minister coming to our college to honour our respected college. Everyday is something new in our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Total fee sums up to 6.6 Lakhs for the entire curriculum , it can be reimburse semester wise which includes the exam fees Rs. 7600 which need to be paid per semester. It is one of the best college in terms of ROI as it provides job to reputed companies with handsome salary packages.

Our college gives importance to sports as well, we celebrate republic day, World Veterinary Day, Youth festival,Seminar workshops. Our college organize sports day as well where all students can participate in various activities according to their wish.

Admission

Students passing 1+2 with physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects with 50% marks are eligible for apply for the CET exam which is a college entrance exam for students willing to study BVSC Curriculum .Even AIPVT is acceptable.

Our faculty believe in friendly cooperation with students so we students find it easier to clear our doubts without having any second thought. Teachers works hard to enhance our skill sets and with their vast knowledge we become familiar with many facts which would prosper our future works.

The life in GADVASU

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes both theoretical and practical knowledge regarding veterinary. Theoretical subjects have anatomy, physiology , livestock production and management in depth about all the species like equines, ovines, bovines, small animals etc. these respective subjects have their own practicals classes too. And we get opportunity to handle app of the animals to study about their behaviour and general structure. Teachers Teachers on smart boards and black bords according to needs. They make presentation regarding the chapter and represent in front of class and after that give us practical knowledge regarding what they taught us in theory. So the theory gets revised also and we get practical knowledge also.

Well-reputed college.

Remarks:

More events could be made possible in this college which is a small drawback. Other than that, I dont find any negative side to it. Classrooms are big enough to hold a huge number of students at the same time. Internet facility is available.

College management was sometimes baised in case of fights at hostel level and then punishment by the management to both the parties due to some links with the professors.

The life in GADVASU

Admission to my course happens on the basis of NEET marks. But my university offers many more courses such as in dairy science,fisheries and biotechnology. Fir general category marks should be around 540 in neet. Reserved categories get benefits, there is quota for SC,ST,OBC,BC, border area, rural area etc. anyone can read about all this on gadvasu's official site. We have 3 internal exams during a year and 1 external exam at the end of the year. Then if we have 3 subjects in first year then practicals for these subject will be held after externals in 2 portions. Students can easily reach admission office. It generally happens near dean's office. Every staff is very supportive and will help in any case. There is canteen just outside the college so parents and students can also sit there and have some snacks. There are many canteens in my campus which also provide proper meals....Read More
