Kanika library was the best thing i like about this institution. it is really great facility for students to read in a calm environment.
They are very helpful and student friendly with very good experiences and their mentorship is outstanding.
Maximum of th3 best ranking students get the placements at renowned companies like godrej bosch, hotachi, wipro, infosys, tcs, tata, mahindra etc.

Dislikes

Bad environment in night time and bad student in our side
The drainage system is very poor. In rainy season its very difficult to move in the campus.
The hostel food is not so great, many changes needs to be done.

Ravenshaw : The A one

Likes

FILM Society : ravenshaw has its film society where various types of film get displayed . Especially the award winning movies and the film society gives us opportunities to participate in state leading dramas and to have a grasp about the industry
I am engaged in the dramatic society and sports group
Maximum faculties of our department are skilled and mainly they are from JNU and the teaching methods and mentorship quality are up to mark

Dislikes

There is so technology related class for which it is little difficult to cope up with today's world . There is ICT lab in our university but regular course students can't use that one.
The food at cafeteria is very basic and there is no variety of dishes available

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The schools which recruit us are like KV , DAV etc and various IT companies also come like Deloitte , TCS , Wipro etc . The percentage of students getting placements is 90 % in our department.

Likes

Ravenshaw Radio ; it provides various opportunities and helps to learn and discuss about various issues with respected individuals.
Yoga Classes and various sports activities are there which helps an individual to be healthy and to discover his/her passion towards a particular sport.
The campus is very greenery and big . Basically we can say Ravenshaw University has a peaceful environment.

Dislikes

The security system of Ravenshaw University is not that good and non college students are allowed in the campus for which a little disturbance also occurs.
Political ideology clashes can be seen in the campus as there are various student party wings are present in the campus.
Student elections are not been held for which there is no one to represent the voices of students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In 4th year ( Ba.Bed ); we students are been send by the department for various study tours and internship to gain practical knowledge. The curriculum is designed in a way that it helps a student to have knowledge over various dynamic issues .

Ravenshaw's Interospection

Likes

The building beauty and the glory. The environment and the fests provided by the University.
The society and various groups of the University for the support of needy people and for the respect of deprived class and excluded society.
The Faculties and students relations. Students can able to share their grievance freely to the teachers for their solutions.

Dislikes

The administrative process due to their negligence and slow process of work.
The class timings and the prescribed class teachers schedule with other works of the university.
Very free and flexible environment that allows students to do whatever they wish.

Last semester or last year. Itech companies, marketing, and advertisement companies. Upto 15 to 20 thousand packages. 20% to 30% placements opportunity. To do a job after the degree or to do PG ahead for advanced study in my course.

Sweet and sour life- adulthood

Has a very good campus environment, regular blood donation camps
A lot happen in extra curricular that you can participate and win prizes in all fields like dance,song, sports physical health, and many more

Dislikes

Administrative process sometimes it just so hectic for a simple work to complete
Course completion is tough task for faculty and students are expected to exam without the completion of course

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we can complete our graduation and bed course simultaneously with the minimum time period of 4 years. The ratio of students and faculty is good. They have cleared net jrf, assistant professor, Ph.D. holders, etc. Teaching methods are good but there is always room for improvement in university it is more of a lecture method which we can change. There is a total 8th semester and each occurs at the time period of 6 months. It is not so difficult to pass just needs to have conceptual knowledge.

Lovely Ravenshaw

Likes

The studing environment is most appropriable.
Campus is well maintained and soothing to eyes and heart.
Supportive friends I got here in revenshaw will always be remembered.

Dislikes

The blockages of roads in rainy season is somehow disliked.
Waste management during the seasonal changes are disliked.
Due to our campus is besides the road the noise issue pokes a bit.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well provided. I'm in an integrated b.ed course and I'm happy with the course as well as the faculty members. Everyone is much supportive and provides nice guidance to improve in respective fields.

Glimpse of Integrated BEd in Ravenshaw

Likes

The diversity in students provide exposure to different fields.
Facilities are enriched with content knowledge
Organisation and celebration of various programs.

Dislikes

Sometimes the conflict in between students and the authority.
Food quality of the hostel, though not bad but its not upto the mark.
The hostels are not sufficient to accommodate all students.

As this is a professional course, there is more job security; that's why choose this course. There are enough number of faculties in the department. They are qualified enough and use contemporary teaching practices. Regular internal exams are conducted before the end semester exam and the difficulty level is intermediate.

Life at ravenshaw

Likes

My department is very good and well maintained.
I have got many cool seniors and peer group.
Faculty members are very friendly and helpful.

Dislikes

The bathrooms are very small and are not very well maintained.
Hostels are not being provided for self financing students.
There are no placement opportunities for integrated B.ed students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good and the faculty members are well trained. The faculty-student ratio on average is 1:35 approximately. The teaching methods of the faculties are very well. Terms exams are conducted every 4-5 months.

Something about Ravenshaw University.

Likes

The college is very good and . The structure and classrooms are highly maintained by RU and there is also smart classroom in every department.
Campus Life is good . If you are a extrovert person then the college life is better then a introvert person.
The faculty of the department is very good and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

The time table systems and their is domination of English language

This course is very much helpful for the students and it is also a professional course that will help the students to be reliable for the teacher profession. The faculty is very cooperative and friendly to the students. The teachers are highly qualified. Some of them achieved a Dr. degree and others are professors. They followed the lecture method, instructional method, and practical-based method also. Exams are not that much tough. If you studied hard then there is no difficulty to pass the exam
