Course Curriculum Overview
As this is a professional course, there is more job security; that's why choose this course. There are enough number of faculties in the department. They are qualified enough and use contemporary teaching practices. Regular internal exams are conducted before the end semester exam and the difficulty level is intermediate.
Internships Opportunities
In the fourth year of our course, the students are allotted to different schools (cbse or other) for the internship program for 2 months. The student teacher has to take the classes of his/her pedagogy to make the learning fruitful.
Fees and Financial Aid
As this course is a professional course, hence comes under the self-financing course at Ravenshaw University. The course fee is 45000 per semester. As I belong to the General category I don't get any scholarship.
Campus Life
In the month of May, the annual function is conducted. There are enough amenities in the classroom. Teachers always encourage them to enhance their extra-curricular skills and sport spirit. There are different cultural clubs for students.
Hostel Facilities
As this is a pre-service teacher education program the faculties always try to develop core teaching skills. In the government hostel, the meal quality is ok. There is the inclusion of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. Students can apply for the hostel both online and offline. It is quite affordable. I stay in a Government hostel.
Admission
A student who has completed his/her Intermediate course is eligible for this course. The application form for this course can be found on the official website of the University. There are reservations for marginalized groups. An entrance examination can be conducted for admission.
