Vast campus of the Ravenshaw University is one can dream of studying in .
Fest and functions are top notch and must attend in the university.
I really liked our course structure and curriculum as it was started from beginner level

Dislikes

There are political interventions in every aspects of it
Less number of placements offering jobs in IT companies
Need to improve the quality of food in cafeteria and equipments in gym.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester students are eligible to sit on campus placements. Wipro, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra , Accentuate, TCS etc MNC visits every year to the university. Highest package offered 4.5 lpa was offered by Deloitte . Average package one should expect is 1.2 lpa. I'm doing job at wipro after the degree.

Ravenshaw : The A one

Likes

FILM Society : ravenshaw has its film society where various types of film get displayed . Especially the award winning movies and the film society gives us opportunities to participate in state leading dramas and to have a grasp about the industry
I am engaged in the dramatic society and sports group
Maximum faculties of our department are skilled and mainly they are from JNU and the teaching methods and mentorship quality are up to mark

Dislikes

There is so technology related class for which it is little difficult to cope up with today's world . There is ICT lab in our university but regular course students can't use that one.
The food at cafeteria is very basic and there is no variety of dishes available

Internships Opportunities:

The name of the companies are TCS , Wipro and the roles offered are mainly in BPO. The projects and outcomes to clarify the tasks are mainly school projects or the projects which are based on societal issue

The overall environment and surroundings.Loved the old school infrastructure.
The teaching staff is good.Proffesors are cooperative.
The academic sessions are completed on time

Dislikes

You will get your semester results very late
The semester can become very hectic some times
The university has political inclusion everytime

Considering the fact that it's a government institute,the placements are overall good... Regarding my course,we get a overall average package of 4,00,000-6,00,000, which is very good , considering the fact that it's just a undergraduate degree.

The environment is very friendly. The teachers are good
Infrastructure is very nice and all the students are also very friendly
The campus deals with ragging issues very seriously.

Dislikes

The labs are not fully equipped.the systems are not working properly
Hostel accomodation is very poor.there are not enough hostel for students
The projectors doesn't work properly which is a big issue.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are basically low. you have to find the internship by yourself. There will be 1-2 internship for you around your 4th or 5th sem which will be unpaid internships. So all the best

Life at ravenshaw

Likes

The fees structure is fairly nice for the education we get
The facilities we get a very less cost , like hostel
A beautiful campus and a reputed college

Dislikes

Air conditioner is not available and too.humid in summer
Cleanliness and water clogging problems are lot during rainy season
The staff is very rude at times and very arrogant

Placement Experience:

The placements are average. But no perfect in today's scenario. If no campus is offered, I would go for off campus interviews or try for government jobs like upsc or any other jobs. I am interested in defence sector and would also try in the same

Ok first of all ravenshaw has a very good reputation in India. In my university there are several course available for the students.
The environment is very nice... Alll the teachers and students are very coordinating there is a friendly relationship between all of us.. we have 3 hostel for girls (graduation) and 4 hostel for pg girls... Total we have almost 7 hostel for boys .
The food serve in hostel is good and clean. University conduct various sports game culture event and function for the development of students and also for the enjoyment.

Dislikes

I think university provide very few placement to the students
The placement fee is also very unsatisfying.
Hostel should be increased cause their are many students who didn't get a seat on hostel and have to stay outside of the campus

Internships Opportunities:

Companies which provides placement to the university students are Wipro Flipkart Amazon Lic Bajaj Many more The job offer to the students are based on there skill and knowledge Students get opportunity more in tax and accountancy

A perfect campus and suitable college

Likes

It has better placement and a proper environment to study best experience teacher were best teaching skill and also helpful they were .
College have a Play ground indoor and outdoor gym for all also all equipment were there what ever needed .
It also have 86 percentage placement and highest placement 16 lakh per annum .

Dislikes

Nothing to dislike about the college as all the things were there
In some face students were more included in every function which I do not think good less involvedmemt of teachers .

Best education and affordable fees just like 8000 for year
Campus peace and library and behaviour of batchmate
Playground and other cultural activities

Dislikes

Partiality among caste system and reservation
Road quality and carelessness and guidance
Freshers and other activities such as commerce cup

Internships Opportunities:

Kpmg, dellote,tata are the companies who came to our college for campus placement and they give job 60% of students and maximum package is 300000p.a and minimu is 150000 And there is also many internship to do but I don't do anything

This collage provied best quality of education
And it gives also placement and it's appreciated skills
It is a old university and it has huge name and fame

Dislikes

College don't give equal priority to all hostel
College don't focus on ability and real talent
It also prefer cast over the talent and skill

Honestly after b com there is rearly some jobs and also low packages ,and college also give placement and this also very low packages thats why I do cost and management accounting along with b.com and some are only doing b.com

There is a internship programme in 4th year of bed students.they goto different schools for 4 months and gain experience from their teachings and make a report and submitted in the institute and complete their internship
