IN our college the highest placement this year was 23 lakhs froom CSE branch and lowest was 2.5 lakhs and avergae placements were 5-7 lakhs. But very few get selected many of are unemployed or get very low or no offers

I actually have a very little idea about placements of our uni few seniors says there is not a single company visiting, while few were discussing the highest placement which was something like 20lpa or something,i think companies do visit our campus it may not be much but i have definetly seen one or two companies visiting. I plan to do MBA after my Btech so i am not that serious about whether i am getting placed or not.

The placements are just average . Mainly mass recruiters visit here. From 7th semester student become eligible with a minimum cgpa of 8.00 or more. The companies visited are-: Genpact Accenture Capgemini TCS Wipro Tata Power Deloitte Inovaare Argusoft Micron Cosmovolt Aptus data labs Etc The average package is Rs 450000 lakhs per annum The highest package is Rs 30 lpa(off campus).

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements name the company was argusoft and polosoft and deltax no of offers like 50 and highest package was 8 LPA and lowest package was 3 LPA and average package was 5 LPA and profiles offered like associate software engineer and java developer and python developer.

I mainly chose this course because the college is Autonomous, which allows them to update the syllabus faster than standard university colleges; seeing subjects like Python and Data Science in the early semesters really influenced my decision. The curriculum is decent for getting placed in service-based companies like TCS or Wipro since they focus heavily on the basics and aptitude, though for high-end product roles or research, you have to put in extra effort yourself. I definitely think they need to reduce the theory load and focus more on practical coding because sometimes it feels like we are just writing assignments instead of building things. Also, the junior faculty rely too much on reading from slides, which really needs to change to make classes more engaging. As for exams, it feels like we are always writing them since we have two internals and one end-semester exam per term. They are moderately difficult and the checking is strict, so you can't slack off, but the tight schedule can get quite exhausting.

At GITA Autonomous College, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester onward (i.e., in the final year of the B.Tech program). This means you start getting placement opportunities in your 3rd year of study after completing core academics and initial training through the placement cell. So talking about placements then the placement trainings get started from your 5th sem onwards and you will be trained upon diff params and from 7th sem onwards campus drives gets started and around 30 companies visits each year and all the mncs comes for campus drives starting from pwc , Deloitte , accenture to tcs , infosys and ibm . So you will get ample opportunities if you have 60% score in your career

Well i liked technology and network and i do have interst on that so that's the reason i choosed computer science as my course and i think i have made the best decision. The exams are held at a certain interval which enough for us to prepare for the exams

Looking at the current market requirement, it is all about it sectors , so I chose btech in computer science, u need to master in your skills , u need to be master in any language like java , python or anything else

Campus placement was also good. On-campus placement. Many students gets job with suitable package. The student who studied well, prepared and working hard+smart he/she definitely gets placement from this campus.
