I chose this course because of my personal interest in computer lines or technical lines. And moreover, this course is good for getting good jobs.
Faculty Student ratio is about 10:1.
Most of my faculty have an Mtech degrees.
Teaching is great. Like our teachers believe more in practicality unlike most of the other teachers who believe in the theory.
So, we are bound to do more and more practicals.
We use to have an exam after every six months (semester exam).
The difficulty is average.
I was always interested in the commerce stream. The faculties at USTM are the definition of "Guru". The student-to-faculty ratio at USTM was about 15:1, which was the reason pedagogy was real smooth there.
As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. Environment of the campus is very good and very greenery.
Because it is peaceful, colder and with beautiful scenery. Professors there are extremely good and motivating. Free UPSC and NET classes provide after college with bus facility. Greenery + many side activities which lets the students to enjoy and study well at the same time.
Admission for the courses at University of Science and Technology is done both online and offline. The process is very easy, go to the official website and fill the form or go to the college itself and submit the forms.
This college is one of the best and beautiful colleges of North-east and I always wanted to take admission in this college. After completing my graduation course, I took admission in this college on the basis of my graduation percentile.
I am currently pursuing MBA from University of Science and Technology - [USTM], Ri-Bhoi as it has the easiest admission procedure based on the merit of the student. At the time of admission, all the students and the staff were really helpful.
Good facilities provided by the University. Use of English in classes instead of local language. Cool and calm environment. I also like the library wherein you can find any books you want or need unlike other colleges. The cafeteria provides clean and hygienic foods.
Once the students get into the 5th semester, since then placements start coming. Companies from various fields come for placement. Well, I don't have any idea about the package as per the companies. I haven't applied for any job yet, since I don't have the planning to get engaged in the job after completing my bachelor's degree. I'll be pursuing my masters after getting the degree.
