VNIT Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, the students can apply to campus placements. Many companies like tata motors, aditya birla, exxonmobile etc.., have visited the campus.In my 4th year around 40 to 50 companies came to hire the mechanical engineering students . The highest package is 20 lpa offered by EIL and average is around 8 to 10 lpa . Around 80 percent of students got placement.

I would like to rate the course ciriculum of vnit nagpur as moderate and resonably comprehensive, especially for students who proactively explore beyond the classroom. One of the key reason for this there are electives like AI/ML, CAD, system modelling, robotcs also

Placements are descent depends upon your skills because ultimately company gonna pick you up . If they find you worthy then for sure u will be placed in good company with descent amount of package and I. Top branches like cse and ece placement rate is almost 100% . Be aware of the backlogs because this ruins your record so some company avoid you. Develop skills and apply .so many companies gonna come including Microsoft , adobe ,visa , goldman sach ,google , and many more with 30+ lpa package and intern ship is also good sso many students got intern in the tech as well as core .

The placements are good fpr circuital branches like cse, ece, eee and mech too. But for other departments placements are decent. Basically 5th, 6th semester students gets opportunity for applying for oncampus internships. 7th, 8th sem students apply for placements. Companies: Google, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, Hilti, Wells fargo, DE Shaw, Natwest, ZS Associates, John Deere, ubs, reliance, samsung.... Highest package : 36LPA Average : 11 Lpa More than 80% students get placement.

The curriculum schedule of the college is very well designed.In schedule we get to learn many courses like python,c language, excel, web development. Which help to make our resume more selective during resume. There is a one subject known as GP which I thought the most relevant subject on a term of real world in which we get to learn offical manners how to be our attire how confident we should be among the people and all. The frequency of exam is in every 45 Days in which we have assignment and practical exam and viva.

People become eligible for placemwnts from the 7th semester . Barely 8 to 9 companies visit for chemical engineering core . Highest package is 14 CTC and lowest is 7 CTC. PSUs alao visit the campus but dont expect to be selected if you are general . For chemical only 40 percent of students get placement.

at present, placement percentage in our college is 64% in our branch and 70% in top most branch cse. in our class there are 18 people who got intership till now which also includes me who got intern in johndeere with 45000 stipend. we got 7 companies till now for internship which is agood number comparatively. campus placements offer a package of 1300000 per annum on an average in our college. students with no placement from campus plan for further higher studies or planning to crack a government job such as becoming an ies officer with pride. i got internship in johndeere which gives 13.1 lpa on full time. but Iam planning to crack a government job that too from campus placement in bhel or hpcl or bpcl or ghel. i wish my dreams to become true and feel happy atleast after leaving this college.

Course curriculum here is fine , I'm ok with it . We have holidays twice a week ( Saturday and Sunday ) so it doesn't feel much hectic. We have minimum 3-4 labs per week upto 6-7 labs per week. It fine actually

the student from and after the 6th semester are eligible for the placements. google , oracle , L&T,Bajaj auto and many companies have visited. highest package for year 2024 was 64 LPA and average was 16 LPA' 75 % got placed i have thought of preparing for govt exam

Students get eligible right from the 7th semester for their placements. Companies likes Bajaj Auto, BlackRock , DeShaw, Oracle ,J P Morgan Chase, Google , BNY Mellon have visited the college. Highest package offered was 64 Lpa to three students. The avergae package is 12 Lpa. 87% of the B.Tech students got placed.
