I had always wanted to do my masters degree from this college. After completing my graduation with quite decent marks, I took an admission in this college. My selection was done through an entrance exam, which was conducted by the college faculty.
My college life was very happy and eventful. I had very satisfactory relationship with all my professors. I am still in touch with some of them and they still guide me in my career. I had also made very amazing friends in my college.
TFIR provided me with the best of education and exposure from the finest of doctorate teachers and professionals. I got the certifications and recommendations from my college?s best and finest faculty. The faculty and the education given by them is exceptional. The college is itself very relaxing and gives a stress free environment.
There is self entrance exam in this college if you have dream to pursue MSc + PhD from this college then you have to give that entrance exam and need to clear the admission eligibility criteria and you have to give interview then you will get the admission that you was looking for
I got admission in this college on my interview skills and knowledge I have given the interview and since it is a very respective college and from a very respective firm you just need to be graduated and then you can take admission after the interview if you passed in that interview
Good points:
Exceptional faculty and environment
World-class research facility
Modern coursework and brilliant exposure
Stipend and zero fee
Academic, cultural and social variety and a harmonious unity amidst all these diversities
ZERO politics
Bad points:
Lack of accommodation space, and food
All in all:
'Ao kabhi TIFR mein!' :)
My conclusion:
Its a privilege to be a part of this legacy.
