Faculty:

Since all of the faculty members are active researchers, they may or may not prove to be a great course instructor. That said, TIFR boasts some of the finest professors in the country, whose knowledge, skill, expertise and enthusiasm are about the best India has to offer. Apart from the courses from the stalwarts of the subjects, all the courses are delivered with utmost sincerity Emphasis is also given on the enjoyable aspects of the subjects. After all, we aren't an institute of 'Fun'damental research for nothing!

All teachers of our university are highly qualified. Most of the teachers obtained Doctorate degree. They are very friendly and supportive. Teaching quality was very good in our university. Ph.D. students are involved by their research supervisors in advanced research programs. The faculty aims to stimulate creativity and a passion for careful and rigorous investigation in the students. Once the research work is completed, we had to submit a synopsis of the work done to a committee of five TIFR faculty members for assessment.
