TIFR's hostels, located in Navy Nagar, offer well-furnished single and double occupancy rooms with community bathrooms, 24-hour water and electricity supply, free Wi-Fi, DTH, and recreational facilities. The hostel is secure with separate buildings for boys and girls, monitored by security guards and wardens. The mess provides both vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, and prepares special dishes on occasions.

Mess timings are strict, and hostel gates close at 10 PM. Despite the rapid space crunch causing students to wait over a year for on-campus accommodation, the facilities and infrastructure are commendable. Temporary flats are available 20-30 km away for students waiting for hostel space.
