IIST Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I was really interested in Aerospace stream and IIST is the best college for Aerospace engineering in India.IIST has direct association with ISRO , some of the isro projects are done by IIST. It has best faculty and labs for Aerospace stream

As this college accepts the GATE EE students in machine learning(most college looking for CS people) that's why I choose this college but apart from that exposer from ISRO is there your classmate might be a working scientist from ISRO . Fee is very less compared to other. Lab is nice and mostly clam environment.

Students are eligible for placements from the 8th semester. The students have to sign a bond that binds to work with ISRO for 3 years minimum if they get above 7.5 CGPA overall throughout the course at a good opening pay at an average of 70,000 INR for every student who gets placed into ISRO. They're also a few companies that come for college placements with similar placement offers but the majority of the students land up in ISRO. About 85% get placed with ease and the rest either pursue high studies or find outside jobs.

There is a great placement inside the iist mostly Student are got absorbed by isro and drdo and rest were adsorbed by other private companies like airbus Phillips wpro and many others. Almost 70 to 80 percent of students got placed in iist and some students who didn't get the job try to clear isro exam or taking higher education like MTech.

It was a really competition in lucknow, indore and Kozhikode. This is the personal reason that live in kerala and my mother is from Madhya Pradesh so I have decided for Kozhikode. The other reason would be converted.I took my exam during my B. Tech 4th year and usually it was in November. Before my MBA exam, CAT I did not take any exam. I took a book of 10 question paper. I did 10 question paper with my room mates module. She had some 20 question paper so I did some 30 question papers then I read the main CAT Examination. I got 92.8 percentile. Results came out in January and after that, I started getting calls from Lucknow, I got calls from Indore, and my exam regarding google I did not get calls from there. I got calls for an interview and a call for Indore and Kozhikode. After this, all interviews were from the 15th of February to the 2nd of March. So, all the interviews, the only interview which I gave offline was Kozhikode and joined interview which although was IM. The first interview was in February. It was joined IMS and the whole process went for the whole day only. My second interview was for Kozhikode, which was in March. I think March 10th was offline then the covid thing became an issue so the Lucknow and Indore interviews were online and they got first back also. It was supposed to be in March and 2nd April as it got shifted and my interviews were done in April. So such interviews, both held on around 20th April.

Because it is the only Space dedicated University in Asia and I had an interest in Space Science. Also it has collaborations with Caltech and LASK, NTU Singapore and other universities which provide very good opportunities for learning and growth.

Lack of girls. If you can help with that at least our juniors would look happy.

Academically the college management is doing great work but for hostel management I think it can work way much better.

College timing is long because 7 hrs college time and 7 lectures are very long and lab timing 2 hrs and lecture time is 1 hr so that is very exhausting to every student in college so this negative remarks

We all are earning handsome today after doing our graduation, most of us did not go for any higher degree as well but still we are happy.
