The campus and infrastrucure is the best in manipal
Students are engaged in many cultural activities provided by the college
Students mental health is basically their first priority
Dislikes
Teachers need to be more highly qualified
Faculties should guide students in clinical practice as well
Internship program has to be improved better
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because i wanted a medical field and this was best because we have less work compared to other departments.
Job opportunity is there but first salary will be less wch is depressing all students.
We dont have value here as anesthesia technician.
Course curriculum has actually changed from this year which i felt better than what our curriculum was.
Timing of exams are proper and exams are easy too if u study.
The culture of the college. The culture of the college is so chill and well suited for a college student
The crowd. People are from every part of the country . Especially in MIT .The crowd is all the way from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
Opportunities. There are multiple incubator for startups and other student initiatives
Dislikes
The new stricter management. These people are taking away the manipal signature by making it strict.. Manipal is known for its culture and chillness.. which the new people are killing it
Fees. The fees is just inflated every year by increasing in some percentage and manipal is the second expensive private college after Bits Pilani
Nothing much else to be honest.. it's a good place for every student ... You explore and you fine out
Placement Experience:
There's a lot of opportunities from ITES, Core, Finance, Marketing, consulting etc . But prepare yourself for placements .. it's more like you take responsibility for your life kind of thing . So interview prep and the aptitude test prep should be done by yourself.
The teachers here are actually passionate about teaching and not like other colleges ....the teachers actually prepare proper ppts and you can always count on them to solve your doubts and explain things if u go to them personally, the labs are best
The labs of KMC are one of the best equiped labs , and they focus on all aspects of learning from theory to practical everything
The public private partnership enables us to experience the government hospitals cases and it is so helpful in increasing our knowledge
Dislikes
The hostels aren't so good for the girls specially after the first year ... Nandagiri hostels for girls isn't too good
The fact that from second year you'll have to run all around the city due to different locations of the lab, the teaching building and hospital, you'll be running around here and tgrtr throught the day
Due to different locations of the buildingds , a lot of money is spent on travelling as the buses aren't regular and even when they come they are mostly full
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was interested in becoming a doctor and this course and college provide me with the opportunity to do that ...the teachers and the training and study we go through is essential to be a good doctor.
It definitely prepares us to be a good successful doctor in future. The clinical postings to different departments start from the second year and give us the actual hospital experience and exposure. it's difficult at first but it's necessary to be a good doctor and further, the fact that we have access to a government hospital makes it better
There are no such improvements i would like to see in the course ...i really believe it's really well managed and executed and I would like to appreciate it .
There are 3 sessionals in a year and one university exams (at the end ) of each year
The Behaviour of the Zolo Staff is appreciated at all the times no matter the situation
The facilities at the campus are unbelievablely amazing
The food at the mess will provide a level of satisfaction and changes the mind for people who says mess food is not tasty
Dislikes
The corridor sometimes are dirty and smells foul.
The heavy rains of banglore sometimes gets in the hostel room but are managed by the staff
The campus sometimes feel is full under-construction but they're working on it
Placement Experience:
The placements are going to be amazing as it is a constituent unit of Manipal academics of higher education (MAHE) the team and faculty of TAPMI are working very hard for placements of the students and they ensure that everyone will be placed .
They even conducted an eveynamed GLC which brought the CEO and HR directors of many big companies in india and they are also providing internships in their companies.
The college provides a social internship at the end of 1st year which is compulsory and provides an excellent opportunity to know how a business/NGO works .
Companies such as
KPMG -20k p.m.
And many banglore based companies are ready to take TAPMI students for their intership projects at similar to these stipends
I appreciate the beauty of manipal and the scenery .It has lots of trees ,perfect weather and very often rains here .The campus is huge around 300 to 350 acres .It has a good girls is to boys ratio ,roughly one is to four
Making friends in Manipal is easy as it has lots of student clubs around and their are chances to meet like minded friends.Faculties are good here some of them are experts in their domain as well .So its easy to pass if you study well.
Yeah so apart from all this good stuff the college lacks in placement and is a little expensive in terms of tutition fees and stuff .But the course curriculum is strong enough to become job capable, student teams and clubs enhance interpersonal skill
Dislikes
I dont like party culture ,alcohol and stuff like that .Since manipal has a lot of pubs .One must not go near student plaza cuz on weekends people make it dirty by puking and stuff .I once had a lot of problem so thats what i disliked
Stuff is expensive here and sometimes some places ,night canteens sell stuff above mrp which is expensive but cant really help.
Apart from that the placements and the package which ppl get incomparison with fees which we pay is not great .It has less ROI ingeneral
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was passionated about robotics since childhood .So the course structure overall aligns with my Goals hence i chose this course .It prepares really well for outside world as companies have tie ups with college so the necessary resources are provided. Areas where this could be improved is more and more resources and tie ups should be made to bridge the gap between the progressing technology . The Exam timing is fine but papers are tough as it follows blooms taxonomy so I have study more inorder to pass as the problems are very tricky.According to me maintaining GPA above 7.5 is easy but going above 8.5 is difficult as its very competitive.
Good teaching, especially for automobile branch it has got the best professors who are so cooperative and kind enough to solve the doubts patiently until the concepts are clear.
Good labs for practical demonstration. Especially in automotive engines lab, toyota has provided one setup for one of the experience.
Overall it's really good for anyone thinking of doing masters in their desired field
Dislikes
Nothing as such. Nearing to end of Semester 1 and there's nothing as of now which I dislike.
No dislikes as of now, will have to experiment more time here.
As it's only sem 1, I couldn't find a thing I can dislike here but it also depends on the branch here
Placement Experience:
For MTech students, first year consists of two semesters. From the second year, internship opportunities and companies start to come in the campus. So mostly if you get internship, it'll get converted into full time jobs upon your performance. End year placements also happens but it's quite dicey. So if you want to grab the opportunity then internship is the thing. Apart from internship there are PHD options as well as 1+1 program.
The college campus is situated on a hill which is very beautiful with lush greenery all around.
The crowd that comes to TAPMI is top-notch! Every person in the college is very talented.
The faculties are very supportive and experienced in their respective fields.
Dislikes
The college is situated a little away from the city.
The hostels alloted to the IPM students are 5 kms from college so the students have to take a bus to college every day.
Sometimes the curriculum feels a lot hectic and tiring.
Placement Experience:
TAPMI offers one of the best placements in the country. The students can sit in the campus placements after the 4th year of IPM or after 1st year of MBA.
A total of 90 companies came for placements and made 368 offers in 2024.
The highest package stood at 32 LPA and Average Package at 14 LPA CTC.
100% of the students got placed with 90+ students getting a PPO.
college academic course structure have wide variety of subjects
college infrastructure , staff is supportive,
course relates to current industry level
Dislikes
college hostel fee is too expensive and incampus store are also expensive
too many rules and restrictions on students life
campus is not too big and wide and far from main city
Placement Experience:
H&M and nike arvind retails and other retails brand for sales internship in second year
Our college promised to give 10 lac placements in 4th year
100% student get 10 lac placements
i will join my family business after 2 year of job
The course structure is very good and industry based.
Dislikes
The campus of mahe is in very outskirts of bangalore ,so it is difficult for us to go out in the city .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is very good and is industry based so the course is difficult and the timing of our college is also a bit hectic for students as you will not find time to do others things than just focusing on academics.
Hoslistic development rigorous course it's like MBA in 4 years
Boys to girls ratio is 2:1 as there is weightage give to girls
Placements assistance is from TAPMI Manipal
Dislikes
Too much of rigour in the course it's an MBA
Placement Experience:
Placements will be good as placement assistance is by TAPMI Manipal is it's more of a cake walk
Average placement will be around 1000000 highest we can't predict as its only the 3rd year of the course.
