L.A.D. College, run by the Women's Education Society, provides affordable education with fees around Rs. 12,000 for a three-year course, including examination and University-related expenses, for the 2016-19 batch. The college offers scholarships for students from underprivileged and marginalized backgrounds. Although the training and placement cell is active, placement opportunities are limited for Humanities students.
On the other hand, the course fees at MAHE are significantly higher at approximately Rs. 2,20,000, not accounting for living and travel costs. While scholarships are available at MAHE, there is no specific information on departmental eligibility, and campus placements are not offered.
