University of Kashmir Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After is passed 12th class examination i registered on JKBOPEE website for JKCET examination in 2017 ending and in starting 2018 the conducting body released admit cards and after a month the entrance exam was conducted. After conducting the entrance exam they released provisional merit list and started councelling process.in the councelling process i got SSM college with the Mechanical branch.There are various factors and reasons that made me choose the college and the main factors include: Location:-location of this college is in Jammu and Kashmir and i am myself from the same state. Availability:-i included this factor because this was the only college in kashmir i could have availed with the score that i made in the entrance exam.there were a lot of seats left in engineering colleges in jammu and i could have choosen among them but my priority was location. The other factors include Facilities (hostel and transport, library) Faculty:- Faculty in this college is also very good and talented and are student friendly. There are a lot of sorrounding facilities like shops,cafe, booksellers, etc. Reputation of this college is also very good.

jee mains score must be above 50 percentile

College itself give placement to students above 80 percentage also many Indian companies also gave placement to brilliant students. I want to study further after completing my degree.

Only some students are placed as no companies visit the college for placements. Only some students get placed. Also, the salary offered is low.

It's the best college after NIT SRINAGAR not everyone can crack it it is the best you can get here the staff there is well qualified and everyone is dedicate to his/her own work there is a saying hard word forever pays if you work hard and get good grade maximum chances are you will have a better job than anyone else.

From 7th semester. About 20 companies visited the campus and offered job letters ranging from 2-3 to every student. Packages range from 100000 to 45000 per year. 100% job placement.

They are running the college in a better way but my suggestion. don't just increase the role of college but produce good capable engineerings.

I never visited any company, I'm still studying, insha'Allah after the completion of my degree I'll try to visit companies bcpz i know for the person's like me it is very difficult for us to start-up our own business. Because of weak family background.

This is a very good college and mostly preffered for B.E in kashmir valley. The reason behind this is it has ability to produce a good engineering lads. Apart from this the faculty here is purely talented and well qualified for their subjects. The thing i like most is the site where it is situated ( tiny mountainy area with beatiful scenery relaxing the mind to be stable for study) Electronics Engineering is my passion i.e why i choose to opt the B.E in electronics and communication.

I choosed this college because it is in my own state and is best state level college i can have through the entrance examination which helped me to get the college.It has seperate buildings for every branch and has good/well abled teaching staff.I had opted the course because i thought engineering is best for me.
