Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to B.E./ B. Tech programs is a pass in HSC or equivalent exam with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics combined.
Selection of candidates for the B.E/ B. Tech programs is done on the basis of 10+2 marks through TNEA counselling.

Selection Process

Candidates must download the counselling call letter and visit the counselling venue on the assigned dates along with all relevant documents (original and photocopies) and a demand draft of INR 5000.
Candidates are required to obtain a counselling form from the bank counters by showing his/her call letter and DD of the prescribed counselling fee.
After that, in the supervision of a counsellor, candidates can choose college and course preferences

my name is Abrar Ul Haq and I pursued a BM Mechanical from SSM the yearly wise fee I paid, I think which includes of 45,000 academic fee and 10,000 registration fee and 10 to 12,000 Bus fee and other registration fees also included and externally. I paid examination form fee. or any other forms and in my batch, there are several categories including SCRST or EWS, which have no academic fee and then also Have some scholarships, which included national scholarship scheme also

Fee hike policy depends on students enrolled and my fee structure was 45000 for one year. I was getting financial assistance by jammu and kashmir board of construction workers an amount of 30000 credited to beneficiary workers account .

The cost of study on our campus is about 4 lakhs for 4 years and the fee is not much hiked by the authority over the last 4 years. There are also scholarships available on our campus including NSP, and some scholarships are available for girl students also. Candidates can also avail of the study loan in this college. There are no jobs available that can be availed on campus with a stipend.

Recently, there was a fee hike of 40% without any prior notice provided to students by the administration. there are different scholarships available to students including NSP. there is no financial assistance available and no campus jobs provided to students.

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fee for the course for batch 2018 is 45000 per year. Apart from the course fee, candidates have to pay 1900+1900 for 2 semesters per year and 500 for every semester registration. Scholarships are also available on campus. Most of the students apply for NSP and are provided 25000 to 30000 every year for 4 years. Candidates are also allowed to avail education loans if required. There are no jobs provided on campus to the candidates pursuing courses in this particular college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choosen the course as i think the course is good enough for my future.and i can go for higher studies with the course and that could be very beneficial for me. There is good and tallented faculty in the college and every member is well qualified.all members in the faculty are PG qualified like "mtech",Phd. The term exams in the college are half yearly.there are internal and external exams held per semester. The internal exams are conducted by the college and the external exams are conducted by University of kashmir as the college is affiliated with the university of Kashmir. The internal exams are easy to pass and external exams a bit difficult to pass as the questions in external exams are a bit tricky.
