#59 out of 200 under “Overall Category”

#8 out of 100 universities under “Overall University Category”

Kashmir University ranking 2023 is released every year by the national and global rating agencies such as NIRF, Outlook ICARE, QS Ranking, and more. As per the latest NIRF 2023 rankings, Kashmir University has received the 33rd rank, continuing to stand amongst the top 100 universities in India. Likes

The campus is very big and beautiful. Especially during Autumn season it looks heaven.
The quality of education is also good as compared to other private law colleges with high fees .
Canteen food is so good. Every dept . Has its own canteen.

Dislikes

Campus is so big that there is no fascility of inside transportation for students .
In a day 7-8 classes are scheduled with break of 30 mins only.

Internships Opportunities:

For law students its upto them when they want to do internship like they can do it from ghe beginning of course during vacations, but it becomes cumpolsory to do internship in final year of course. Student s are eligible for moot court from their 2 year

Likes

cleanliness, infrastructure, curriculum and environment of the campus. we were giving smart classes throughout the course
The campus is safe for students for all categories not discrimination infact students help each other like families.
facilities in the campus are far far ahead of any other universities of our country as i have been to other universities of country

Dislikes

a few faculty members seem arrogant that carves negative impression
Research for masters students should be realistic so that can help students to get placements
Researches are there but should be focused on real life problems to give best outcome not only for students but for the reputation of university

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered but not upto that level but yeah for toppers there are placements in the campus but for rest of students many companies visit for the purpose but the least number of students get hired. My plan was to prepare for the upsc exams

A review about GMC Srinagar

Likes

I like the teaching quality . Top notch teaches are there
Infrastructure is quite good has all the necessary things to become a good doctor
There are parks in the college which provide space to have break

Dislikes

Hostel accommodation is weak No hostel for 1.5 years
Some Teachers are quite bad at attitude and no respect
There is no canteen in the college campus

Internships Opportunities:

There is 1 year of internship with MBBS course There are 11 associated hospitals so practice is pretty good . We can check variety of patients Strong hold on medicine is very important which is achieved through internship

Clinical studies are better than other colleges
Present in in good location where you can afford anything
Srinagar city best for picnic adventure....you can plan and enjoy....

Dislikes

No event..fest are take place rather seminarsare done
In the 1st year for boys ... accomodation in hostel in not present you have to wait for 1 year
If you are from outside from Srinagar you will cry for you local food

Internships Opportunities:

Intership is available after final year exam for 1 year where you can advance you skill and knowledge...and get a real world application... You can learn communication with the patients ... How to address them about history taking examination everything.

The management is very good be it timing of classes or labs
The teachers are regular with the classes and are disciplined
The exams are commenced on time and with all seriousness

Dislikes

The department of Pharma and biochemistry lie in the same building
The buliding is old and sometimes the rainwater seeps in.
There is no separate park for b pharma students

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start 6th semester. The placement ratio is quite good in our college. The companies that visited include cipla . Highest paid was 6LPA. 80% STUDENTS. I'm planning to do go for masters while staring a side business

Experienced Faculty... The professors and lecturers are highly skilled, ensuring quality education.
Multiple Associated Hospitals:.. the college provides extensive clinical exposure in real-world medical settings.
Well developed Labs.. to ensure that we have a lot of practical experience

Dislikes

Lack of any social activities, and the zeal to do any of that sort..
It has no recreation center.. there are no canteens no sports playing place.. esp for girls
No Student societies are here, like anything except academics

Internships Opportunities:

Internship is only done in our college after 4th year. There are postings that we attend. and the posting are for every one.. for every month we get a stipend of 12,500 rupees thats less than all states colleges.

The aspects of college was good but i think building structure was not good because due to crowded jumping because class size was very small and the college administration was think about repaire of college building
My engagement with campus life in college was good and social interaction with others was very good
In college teaching system was very because ever teacher gives hundred percent effort for each student

Dislikes

The bulid of college was not good it should be repair because class size was verey small other wise the role was very huge
In campus learning facility was not good student smoke their and was not proper displine there some students fell uncomfortable there
There should be some course added in college stream list because there was some stream in stream list

Internships Opportunities:

The opportunities for general cast was not available in college this in negative point for us but social cast takes some opportunities the got scholarships they got some jobs they got some special member in events

Gmc srinagar

Likes

Gmc srinagar is the best college in the state with more than 7 associated hospitals with the college which makes clinical postings very fun. The facilty and the doctors are the best in the state the infrastructure of the collge is also very good
The seniors are helpful. The ratio of the boys to the girls is also 1 is to 1. There are 90 girls and 90 boys in the class. The praticals classes are taken very seriously by the professors and it helps in overall character development
The location of the college is also very good everything is accessible. It is located in the heart of the srinagr city. The beat thing about the college is it sports culture students are very active in sports and we have a whole week of sports

Dislikes

Somethings could be improved like hostel. Wr have limited number of seats in hostel which makes it difficult for the 1st and 2nd year students to get the hostel. Living outside is also very expensive
Winter is very harsh in srinagar and classes starts from 9 so it gets tough
Basketball court could be made better with lighting system

Internships Opportunities:

After finals years students are required to complete there compulsory intership of 1 year at the hospitals which includes night shifts. The intern get the stipened arojnd 12 thousand per month in our college and is posted in all the departments

Likes

Sports activities i.e football , cricket and others outdoor sports
NSS, NAA Programs are done in college which makes you disciplined
Canteen food is very hygienic and low rate for products

Dislikes

Sometimes faculty fails to attempt exams on time
Internship counselling is missing in college
Environment safety is not being done properly

There were many opportunities available in your college for internships like banks, firms, Online companys tele cast offices and many other departments where a student can do internships and do something in their future

In my college life along with studying i and my friends enjoyed a lot..
Our college faculty's experts was remarkable,their way of teachings and mentorship quality was excellent.
We travled to lot of places had new experiences and learned alot of new things.

Dislikes

Feeling overwhelmedby large course loads
There should be improvement in sportsmanship
The quality of infrastructure should be improved in campus
