Remarks

It was a nice experience, the campus is good, the teachers are nice. Through JEE in September of every year. It's a government-funded college. None through the newspaper.

Course Curriculum Overview

B.Tech was a preferable choice because of better job opportunities. Most of the teachers have done their Ph.D's. Exams were always on time, papers were fairly difficult.

Yes, at BSES Delhi. No stipend as such. Nice learning experience overall. Others were at different private firms with varying stipends.

Placement Experience

From 7th semester. About 20 companies visited the campus and offered job letters ranging from 2-3 to every student. Packages range from 100000 to 45000 per year. 100% job placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

No hike in few during my four years. 50000 per year. Merit cum means scholarship. 25K per year. An internship at L&T with 17000 stipends.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is the state of the arts. Everything one needs for education is present. Fests are organised by-annually. NGO's are run within and outside the campus by the students.

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

My NIT SRINAGAR

From the starting of 4th year ,we are eligible to sit in the placement and the ratio is almost 65-70 percent percentage head and for it and cse - increff, microsoft ,make my trip ,paypal ,and visa and for civil - L&T and many sales company

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester student become eligible for placement. The companies visited are L &T for civil which is big company and select many students, jsw for mechanical and increff , paypal , microsoft, visa ,make my trip for IT and CSE

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

University Of Kashmir Law review

I didn't apply for any college. I straight through went to KU for an entrance and after qualifying i got an opportunity to enroll myself in LLB. Entrance exam is of 60 marks with 60 question.
