Amar Singh Government College formerly known as Amar Singh Technical College was established in the year 1913 at Gogji Bagh, Srinagar. Amar Singh College Facilities
The campus is spread over 35 hectares with all amenities that include several buildings for classrooms, well-equipped laboratories for science courses, computer labs, a large playground, parks, and gardens.
- Sports: The college has the necessary infrastructure for various sports. This includes fields for cricket, football, and kabaddi, as well as courts for volleyball, badminton, and table tennis.
- Hostel: The hostel provides hygienic rooms for male students, and can accommodate approximately 100 students on a sharing basis. The hostel also serves meals (vegetarian and non-vegetarian) to those housed there.
- Library: A large library containing more than 70,000 books is available for the benefit of the students. All reference books required for undergraduate and postgraduate courses are housed here. A computer cataloging system for all the books is presently being developed, along with access to over 50,000 e-books.
- Auditorium: A new Hi-Tech auditorium was built in 2020. It is equipped with an HVAC system, spotlights and stage lights, audio/visual, PA, and recording facilities and several events have been conducted successfully here.

I applied in this college as it is very near to my home about 2kms and also some of my relatives had studied in this college and they suggested me to study in this college so i took admission in this college.

- Political science has no department. That is the issue
- Initiall setup of cutting down of trees. That is wrong setup

Initially, I was curious regarding the selection in my college as it was one of the oldest college and having such a terrific faculties. In status quo, I felt that i took such a bold decision as I got something different in this college.

I didn't choose tjis college but i ended up here , one because it was the nearest college 2 because i got this collge on merit basis . But i dont regret studying here this college is good and course m doing is also good

The basic eligibility for my course was 10 + 2. Application form for admission is released by cluster University of Srinagar on its website. Reservation rules are applied as per state. There are some areas for improvement in admission process such as low registration charges etc

Eligibility of BCA course is you have I.P and computer applications in your 12th and you have to qualify these subjects then you will get addmission. It is easy find application form, application fees and application dates they are all available in their university website

- Canteen food has many varieties available and the quality and hygiene of food is good
- It's in main city so it is close to the main University operating all the college

- There is a lot of crowd as many students are in class and in campus which makes it more crowded

We have to CUET exams for college and after according to the marks we get selected from the preferred colleges which we have listed in the forms some colleges have no exam addmission policy also students get selected according to there percentage in board exam

- I like the sports facility of college it is very very good.

- Sometimes the traffic jam Irritates and and the noise of traffic jam effects our studies.

You can find the application form, application fees, and application dates at www.cusrinagar.edu.in. 20 percent of seats in each program will be reserved for "other backward classes" (OBCs) and scheduled tribes. There should be a change in the admissions process, students should be able to submit their admission forms though online.

I am doing my BSc at amar singh college. Amar Singh College has every department like zoology physics mathematics and also arts subjects department and commerce subjects department. The college is located in a very good place. The infrastructure of this college is very fascinating. Amar Singh College has excellent faculty of teachers.
Admission:
The admission process was good I took an entrance exam and the eligibility of courses was zoology, chemistry, geography, botany etc. You can find the form on the cluster University website and application fee is 800 per subject and the application dates start in March I think. Lots of benefits if you get selected for the entrance test you can do a bachelor's and master's together if you get selected and the cut-off starts from 40 marks. No improvements are needed.

Hi! So our college was admitting students on a merit basis and I had 86 per cent in my 12th exams I got selected for Amar Singh college Srinagar. As it is govt. based college the campus is good but when it was time for submitting fee college administration announced to go bank for submitting fee and in the bank, we were in the queue for 2 consecutive days that was the worst experience ever in my life as it is the time of online transactions everything is working online. After that, we had our first sem exams in winter vacations when there is freezing cold everywhere so it's my experience in my college till now and I will hope for better
