"Amar Singh College": a blend of academic excellence and heritage charm

Likes

I love my college as i enjoy there with my college mates
I loved teaching methods also because teachers use to taught us very calmly
I also loved college activities as i played badminton chess volleyball there

Dislikes

I disliked the thing that my college doesn't pay too much attention
My college doesn't provide internship which is bad

Likes

I like almost everything at my college there is nothing bad thanks
I like the theme of my class room my all teachers
Also the front design of my college and the auditorium and the heritage building I like the most

Dislikes

There was three in front side of the college bht they cut them I don't like that
Also they prefer students to come from the another gate I hate that
And the canteen is also not good and affordable

I was thinking about this college since I was in 9th standard I like amar singh college Srinagar too much when I came in this college there was not much competition to get admission in this college so I get admission easily.my experience was good first but fee was very much that sometimes I think that is should leave studies.

My review is very nice

Likes

Faculty is very nice and the way they teaches us is outstanding
I like the campus beauty my college campus is very mesmerizing and maintainance is great
I like the fee structure of my college it is very affordable

Dislikes

I don't like timetables of my college the time table they made for classes is not suitable for us
There is not digitalized classes in our college..only few class rooms have this system
No heating system for winters in classrooms as well as in Libra

Admission:

First I applied for jmi and du but unfortunately I failed then I choose this college over all the colleges in kashmir.amar singh college is a historic college in Kashmir and has very good ranks .when I appeared for this college I clear the cuet examination this was the eligibility to get admission in this college

The lavish Amar singh college (pros & cons)

Likes

The basic facilities like ,library, washrooms etc are very well and amazing
The faculty, deen and other staff are just amazing and very helpful to students in general.They never discriminate anyone
The access to study material and computers are there which helps a student particularly during exams

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not there for girls which is a negative point about college
The canteen are very small in size which really make choas during lunch breaks
The curriculum is to some how hectic with so many subjects

Admission:

I actually choose various colleges but my first preference was this college and due to my good grades i got admission in this college. I was not rejected by other colleges but i choose this one as first preference because it is one of the leading college in kashmir. The admission process was simple as we were supposed to give cuet exam and then after the results the colleges reached us which we have filled in forms of cuet ,then the persons with good scores were contacted first by college and given the admission with good choices of subjects

I liked the campus of our college . Also the space and department wise distinction there.
Liked the environment of studies there. We can have a comprehensive study environment with our batch mates
I like the faculty there. Especially public administration and history

Dislikes

Not enough focusing on extra curricular activities, and student involvement
Time variation in classes we have to wait for a long time in order to attend our classes
Poor administration. Administration is not responsive enough of student matters

Admission:

I applied for amar singh college as it is one pf the top colleges of our state. I wanted to apply for delhi university but our board exams were quite late as we were the first batch to experience cuet exam. The cut off was not quite high and i got the college in first try. I also had a pretty good score in cuet enterance.

Teacher comes on time the dont get late for the class mostly and class goes on smoothly for whole the time and teacher become busy with students all the time
The behaviour of the teachers is very good with all.
The teaching is also good specially practicals.

Admission:

I applied in this college as it is very near to my home about 2kms and also some of my relatives had studied in this college and they suggested me to study in this college so i took admission in this college.

I liked the staff/teachers of my collage
Good enough social interaction with people
Very good faculty especially with teaching

Dislikes

Political science has no department. That is the issue
Initiall setup of cutting down of trees. That is wrong setup
Fee structure is too expensive .... So many students cannot afford it

Likes

Proper Timing For Classes and Other Administrative Activities.
College campus for students accompanied by green trees
Infrastructure is decent in some blocks...

Dislikes

Placement not given at proper channel and timings.
Infrastructure not good in all the blocks of the college
Faculty not great in all subjects and arenas.

Admission:

The basic eligibility for my course was 10 + 2. Application form for admission is released by cluster University of Srinagar on its website. Reservation rules are applied as per state. There are some areas for improvement in admission process such as low registration charges etc

Likes

This is extremely brilliant I love this college
Teachers are student friendly and they guide us right to path
Building structure is very good I like this college

Dislikes

Some students are like chapris they act like children
This is too far away from my home town I suffer alot
Internet facility is not available for us

Eligibility of BCA course is you have I.P and computer applications in your 12th and you have to qualify these subjects then you will get addmission. It is easy find application form, application fees and application dates they are all available in their university website
