Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choosed the curriculum to gain more knowledge for my UPSC exams. Curriculum is framed well but world touch is not much. And i think realistic problems should be brought in curriculum so that we can handle the situations of after passing out. Exams are with easy moderate and hard levels in a single paper and the frequency is 2 per year. Duration of exams is usually 2 hours or 2.5 hours depends upon the subject.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are offered but not upto that level but yeah for toppers there are placements in the campus but for rest of students many companies visit for the purpose but the least number of students get hired. My plan was to prepare for the upsc exams

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid 22000rs for two years as i had qualified the entrance examinations to get admission. However there is option to get admission through payment mode as well and which costs around 70000rs for two years. These fee structures include all kinds of fees like tuition, admission and all. The university offers several kinds of scholarships including Merit, Research and Student Aid Scholarships. These scholarships help and boost the passion of learning in students. The amount of scholarships varies if i talk about student Aid it was round 12000 rs annually and teachers also help personally to students overcome financial issues.

Campus Life

5

overall experience in the campus was good. we celebrate all festivals and all important days subjected to state and country. Library is far better than any thing. classrooms are well versed with digital infrastructure.

Admission

I was willing to join JNU and Jamia but i found my university not below those two so instead of going there i opted kashmir university as it environment and surroundings and especially the weather are safe and moderate. I didnt apply in any other colleges but yeah i researched for all before applying.

Faculty

5

faculty to student ratio is 1:5 but we used to take class in larger lecture halls mostly combined classes to have more confidence while being in large gatherings. All the members were fair enough, their helping hand. some faculties like administrative were not taking pains to solve students issues frequently, but that is normal. Semester mode has made exams very easy

Night Life

5

I wasnt in the hostel but it depends on the students where they want to spend the time. my classmates were in gym, and mostly in library not all but most. campus is situated at beautiful place itself and surrounded by many mughal gardens. so words cant describe it
